L.A. Nolan was born in Toronto, making him the first Canadian-born member of his family, whose roots are set firmly in Liverpool, England. Throughout his life, his restlessness encouraged extensive travel to many countries, and in 2012, he finally settled in India.
Motorcycling became the primary focus. He joined a club and crisscrossed the country with reckless abandon, several times. He dabbled in acting and landed a few small roles in Bollywood productions such as Aiyaary, alongside Sidharth Malhotra, and, Bose – Dead or Alive, with Sanjay Gurbaxani and for many years, he was also the frontman of a successful rock and roll band playing the club circuit in New Delhi.
