Barry Ellsworth is an author, entrepreneur, and a father. He has been involved in the financial arena for over 40 years. He made his first million by the age of 30, and has taken numerous companies public, raising hundreds of millions of dollars for both his own and others' projects. Like every entrepreneur, he's had winners and losers. Luckily the winners have outweighed the losers, but his life is not yet so that could still change. He is also the founder of Green Plains Renewable Energy (now Green Plains, Inc.). It trades on NASDAQ under the symbol GPRE and is one of the largest ethanol producers in the world. ...more
