When describing a book you love, the word breastable really should be in our Websters! A breastable is when you finish a book, hold it to your breast, close your eyes, and sigh.
Here are a few of the books I deem as "breastables."
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer & Annie Barrows
Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery
Bridge of Clay by Markus Zusak (the author of The Book Thief)
A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles
The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin
Enjoy!
