Marc Corwin is a critically acclaimed science fiction author, retired entrepreneur, and lifelong storyteller whose imagination was shaped by three powerful forces: the Golden Age of comic books, the golden era of Hollywood cinema, and the power of music.

Growing up in Indianapolis, Indiana, Marc's father shared a close friendship with the legendary Mirisch Brothers, the Hollywood producers behind three Academy Award winning Pictures of the Year including West Side Story, In The Heat Of The Night, and The Apartment. Other classics such as The Pink Panther, The Great Escape, Fiddler On The Roof and The Magnificent Seven were part of Marc's world from an early age. In 2015, Marc's car hydroplaned off a rain-soaked highway outside Las Vegas, Nevada, plummeting 25 feet into the desert floor. He awoke uninjured. And compelled, inexplicably, to write.

What emerged was The Optical Lasso: Beware of Neptune's Dark Side, a space opera epic set in 2140 CE that has drawn comparisons to the Foundation Series by Isaac Asimov. The series has earned five star reviews from Readers' Favorite, a Literary Titan Gold Award, coverage in Kirkus Reviews, and praise from Chanticleer Reviews, Diane Donovan of Donovan's Literary Services, and Emmy award winning KPBS television host Kathi Diamant. The Optical Lasso reached number 5 on the Amazon Best Seller List for Science Fiction Space Opera.

The Infiniverse Marc has built spans faster than light travel, alien invasions, a hero who regenerates, a planet that periodically reverses its rotation, and a villain who is none other than Satan himself, scientifically observable and operating from the Ghost Planet Vixus in the outer reaches of the Kuiper Belt. At the heart of it all is a relentless transformation theme that runs through every character, every relationship and every world in the series. Nothing stays what it was.

Half of all royalties earned from The Optical Lasso are donated to the Grace Science Foundation, supporting the development of cost-effective cures for over 7,000 known rare diseases affecting an estimated 350 million people worldwide.
