Valerio Gargiulo is an Italian-Icelandic writer, educator, and cultural communicator based in Reykjavík, Iceland. He is known for blending supernatural fiction, fantasy, and intercultural storytelling inspired by both Southern Italy and Icelandic life.

Born in Naples and living in Iceland since 2002, Gargiulo holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Naples Federico II and a Master of Laws from Reykjavik University, completed in 2015. Alongside his literary work, he has been active in legal consulting, research, education, and neurophysiological technology, working both as a preschool teacher and EEG technologist.
