Hey there! I know, I know...we've fallen off...yet again. Guys, we don't have an excuse other than...we're human dealing with little humans and we. are. TIREDT.

I digress.

With the radio silence (We still say that? Yes? No? Oh well.) on our end, we want you all to know that we have NOT forgotten about you! In fact let's get right into it!

1. The final installment for Everett Fantazme and his beautiful Christine is on preorder! We know, we know its a little late but we have been working diligently to get this out for you all!

2. TWWOK VI has been put on a little hiatus. I don't know what we were thinking to tackle such a huge, detail-rich series, right after a long break but we were NOT ready. BUT don't you worry, our favorite band of insane characters will be back...soon...eventually...sometime.

3. We have officially started our new romance! We met them briefly in Mister Jackson and Miss Daughtry, but I'd like to announce that Blake Buchan and her dashing (mildly hot-headed) lover, Youngbae are in the works for thier "Kpop Affair" See what I did there? LOL MOVING ON!

4. Announcements! We are slowly rolling out second editions of our books, updating their covers, and getting audiobooks! Slowly but surely. (Amazon is giving us hell for Cherish and Simon for some reason, but the Clean versions are cool. Same story, just without the naughty, naughty. Weird.) Since TikTok hangs in the balance, we are thinking of starting a YouTube channel, and reading the first three chapters of old and new books alike to stir up some excitement!

For 2025 we HOPE to release 4 books!

-Golden Hour

-Parts 1 & (Possibly 2) of Kpop Affair

-Part 2 of Bently and Maya's love story!

With that being said...I guess...that's it? Yeah. That's it! I would say "See you next month" but....we all know how terrible we are at keeping in touch. That being said, thank you for your support! Love you all!

WHEW *Cough* -Cough- What...LIFE is this?

Dearest readers, why hello there! It is now a new year, March, and 5 in the morning. A baby is screaming in the crib and Maddie? I'm sure she's dealing with the same thing right now. If she is asleep in her bed...well...>_> LuCkY hEr.

I can not believe that it's been 8 months. Are you f*king kidding me right now? Where am I? What life is this? Will I ever sleep again? *another cry* Oh, well that answers my question. This is not a newsletter about babies, but I will announce that Maddie and I have given birth (traumatically) to a Little Mister and Miss Ma'am respectively. It's been a hell of a ride going through tandem pregnancies and births within weeks of each other.

With that being said, ON TO THE NEWS.

Soooo...this is going to be straight and to the point on account of not...writing a damn in almost a year. So instead of updating you on our progress...I will instead give a small list of the books we will be (hopefully) releasing in the future! (Forgive me because this braaaaain is TIREDT)  

 For 2024 (I wrote 2023...oh lord) we will be releasing 2...count 'em 2 books.

-The World We Once Knew VI: A continuation of our harrowing (and ever-growing) post-apocalyptic tale of a band of...heroes? Well, they are certainly colorful and full of surprises. I (Eva) personally can't wait. For those who know me...know I love chaos. LET THE GAMES BEGIN! MWHAHAHA

and...

-The final installment of Mister Fantazme and his beautiful Christine.

For 2025 we HOPE to release 4 books!

-2 brand spanking new romances!
-Another TWWOK
-Part 2 of Bently and Maya's love story!

Have no fear, we're still here! Well, sort of.

The past few months have thrown us a curve ball in life with both unexpected downfalls and blessings to come. For the next 8 months we are going to be on a hiatus from writing on account of bringing new life into the world! Yes, as though this author pair couldn't get messy enough we have BOTH fallen pregnant at the same time, only a month apart! The break is to give us proper time to prepare for motherhood and more importantly survive it. (If you know, you know!) We thank our readers for their patience and contained rage.


The Exception : Has been released! A treat for those who have read the Obsessed and The Artist series. This novel delves into the private lives of our standoffish Bently and energetic Maya as well as the secrets and steam between them.

Eduardo “Bently” Santiago is your typical assholish figurehead in the world of fashion. He has a cushy job, many high-profile clients that seek out his designs, and an ever-changing sea of lovers to choose from. He makes his own hours, he hires and fires people at will, has powerful connections, and a wealth of influence behind closed doors. Only, his name is not the one on the designs. Reginald Cabal, the shrewd CEO of Cabal INC, has made Bently his personal ghost.

Despite the spirit of April Fool's Day I won't be pranking anyone for today's newsletter, in fact I'll be spending the day avoiding everyone in the hope of making it through without being bamboozled. With spring starting to do it's thing and nature coming back to life, Easter Day is the cherry on top to bring family together; the perfect distraction from our impending tax deadlines. Whether religious or not it's the season to celebrate the birth of spring and an excuse to decorate our houses in pretty pastels, search for chocolate eggs and scarf down on a grand home cooked meal. Call me a foodie but personally the supper is my absolute favorite, that and getting to eat peeps! ALL THE PEEPS!

All That Glitters has been finished! After toiling over this dark romance we have finally seen the end to the second installment of the Obsessed series. Taking the fashion world by storm there is more behind the scenes than the public can see when it comes to Christine and Everett Fantazme. With a surprise ending we're very eager for everyone to discover and anticipate the next installment.


The Exception is our newest story which we already well under way in writing. If readers have followed the Obsessed series and The Artist series this new book will feature very familiar characters. Set amidst the fashion scene, we follow Eduardo "Bently" Santiago a ghost designer who works under the Cabal label. He has a sharp tongue, a stern personality and a brilliant mind but this comes with a penchant for pushing others away, far away. All except for Maya, a professional makeup artist working alongside him on his projects who develops into an unexpected light in his life.

Warming up for March? Think otherwise.

Remember how I was ready to tap out from the cold? Well, I'm not sure about ya'll but Mother Nature has been playing an awful trick on me. It has been getting so warm that snow has been melting, coats have been abandoned and I've begun to see turkeys playing around in my backyard (So cute! Chunky bastards) Then, in the blink of an eye we're hit with blizzard after blizzard and up to our chins in snow again. Where are you spring?? Please! Make it stop! Bring help! I'm shivering and I can't feel my toes! On the other hand, my co-author bestie Eva lives where it's nice and warm (Lucky bitch.)

Weather aside, we were delighted to find that a Youtuber who has read the Cherish and Simon series and reviewed it on her channel! We couldn't be more humbled and appreciative. She's very articulate, intelligent and has a sweet soul. She reviews romances written by black authors or featuring black characters. Cherish and Simon: Counting On has officially been released as of today! With this final entry of the series, the story of Cherish and Simon is put to a proper end. It's hard to let go but if this book series has taught us anything it's on how to move on but to never forget. From the first year onward, we heavily recommend this series for a wholesome (18+ of course) family romance on a roller coaster of emotions with the cutest babies you've ever seen.

All That Glitters Is well on it's way to being finished! This series is very engaging to us so churning out the chapters has been less of a challenge and more of a pleasure. The plot has begun to take a darker turn and Everett's disturbed mind is evident than ever. Excited to share with our readers once we publish this book.

As bad as everyone thought the start of 2023 was going to be we're all still here and we're all still struggle busing. Thankfully we have Valentine's Day to help us through another cold month. Whether that's with your special someone or with that fictional special someone curled up with a good book, we hope everyone finds their warmth on the 14th.

Personally, I've been buried in snow for the past month and I'm about to tap out. I am tired. The upside is there is nothing better to relax to than a cup of hot cocoa and an open page to fill.



All That Glitters is on it's way to completion! We are in full swing of Fashion Week and our brains have been in overdrive designing and describing these garments. It takes a handy-dandy thesaurus and some clever wording to create the best and clearest picture we can so it comes to life in your imaginations. Our knowledge on design and the fashion industry has expanded so much since researching for this book. Even when you think you know everything there is so much more to know!



That's all for February! Update on the resolutions: It's aliiiive! My diet still exists, fingers crossed for next month. Eva does not have resolutions, she just gets things done and feels accomplished after. Talk about goals, I wish! Until March, be safe!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Today is the anniversary of our authoring career; the day Eva got stuck to Maddie forever whether she likes it or not! Four years ago today we took the worlds, plots and ideas built between us and shared them with all of you. Through all of this time we have worked our flat butts off (Okay MY flat butt) to forge and finish our stories with blood, sweat and tears and trust me when I say it was more tears than anything! With old accomplishments come new beginnings and 2023 has a whole lot in store.

Cherish and Simon: Counting On has officially been completed!! With this final entry of the series, the story of Cherish and Simon is put to a proper end. They so happen to be one of our personal favorites and we are very heavy-hearted to let them go but in a way we are glad that we got to completely flesh out their story the way they deserved. From the first year onward, we heavily recommend this series for a wholesome (18+ of course) family romance on a rollercoaster of emotions with the cutest babies you've ever seen.

All That Glitters has been started! Once again it's been very refreshing to delve back into a romance novel of darker themes. We return to Everett and his muse Christine only in a new country with Fashion Week coming up fast. New locations, new characters and higher stakes are to be had in this installment but best of all we get to crack into Everett and learn a bit more about the history behind his eccentricities.

Here we are in the month of December! HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADDIE! The month known for Christmas and the last month of our 3 years since we officially launched! Next month, on the first, marks 4 years we've been publishing and 5 years writing. WHEW CHILE. We need a break. ANYWAY, LETS GET INTO IT.

Cherish and Simon: Counting On We are on chapter 15 of this book. We were supposed to finish late last month but...you know that break we were talking about? We took it. >:) (Not to worry, there is light at the end of the tunnel, we should finish by the end of next week. >_> Fate willing.)

All That Glitters will be started in the middle of this month. (After we take another break ha-ha-ha) We are very excited to dive into Everett's psyche and why he can't stand Redmond's name.

Here we are in the month of November! The day after Halloween when little turds dress up and go knocking on your door. Then... quick as a flash... you realize you don't have any candy. SO what do we do? Hide. Cause they mean business. Candy is their lifeblood. They're bringing the tricks. So, now that you know how we spent our holiday, let's bask in November. Thanksgiving (Yum). And uh...well...uhh... o-o Thanksgiving! LET'S GET INTO IT!

Cherish and Simon: Counting On We are finishing chapter 10 of this book TODAY. (YOU HEAR THAT MADDIE?! TODAY! <_<) 8 more chapters to go! Oh my god. The light...can you see it? It's peeking through. Just know that we are halfway there, livin on a prayer. That's pretty much all we have to say about them at the moment.

EVERYONE. IT HAS FINALLY HAPPENED. We got the cover of Bently done. We are proud to announce that The Exception is on Pre-order. This beautiful little baby will be released on July 1st, 2023. Our "Spicy fashion" romance (that was Maddie's interpretation. Good god.) will be started sometime next year for your reading pleasure.

As you may notice with The Exception, Maddie and I have decided to go about updating our book covers. So the next commission will be for All That Glitters OR Cherish and Simon: The First Year. With new book covers come new editions to said books...which means...EVERY BOOK IN OUR ARSENAL WILL BE SLOWLY REWRITTEN AND UPDATED WITH THEIR BOOK COVERS. So be on the lookout for that! WOOHOO! (As Eva is slowly crying into her tea)

Here we are in the month of October! Life is finally a little normal after hurricane Ian. (That asshole.) Canadian Thanksgiving is coming! Not much to say here, Eva is tired, and Maddie is tired. We are both some tired bitches. LET'S GET INTO IT!

The World We Once Knew V has officially released! The last book of the year! Another beast completed! Whew, that took all of our brain power. You guys do not understand how draining this series is, but we love.........when it's over (and the story <--- Per Maddie) So if you want sex, intrigue, and another (extremely) twisted story (series) to whet your appetites (Yall, I wrote appetitties. Can you tell I'm exhausted? LOL) pick up your copy or download your Kindle Unlimited and get started!

Cherish and Simon: Counting On has officially been started! 4 chapters down.................several to go. But, let's be real, Maddie and I are devastated to see them go. These are the ones that basically brought you guys, our readers, into our little world. We appreciated this little family story so much. This will be the 4th series finished and this one stings. *Sigh* but we'll keep working and adding to our repertoire. We love what we do. (Most days)

We will commission the first installment of our Bently series sometime in the near future. (XD 5 months later)
