Born and raised in the North East of England, I developed a passion for writing whilst at university. It was only when I was in my 30's that I got serious about writing, I was looking for a new outlet whilst being a full time carer and originally came up with a short story to occupy my mind... However that short story quickly turned in to The Velvet Chronicles.
I have always loved anything to do with the supernatural, vampires, werewolf's and all those things that go bump in the night, so wanted to create a book that incorporated those elements as well as a strong female lead. I had always been heavily influenced by other authors of vampire based books but always wanted that little bit more... more action, more blood, more sex... So I guess ...more

What am I doing?

Now that the first 3 books are complete and out there for the world to read, I am working on book 4. The 4th book in the Velvet chronicles is called Velvet Darkness and in true Velvet style will hopefully please all awaiting fans.
