“Quería derretirse, y besarlo, y matarlo y odiarlo, todo a la vez.”
L.A. Brier, Rock Therapy

“Dylan empezó a cantar, y a ella los músculos se le volvieron cera caliente y tuvo que cerrar los ojos y apretar los puños.”
L.A. Brier, Rock Therapy

“Maldijo a Dylan Reeves, a sus ojos de dos colores y a su piel caliente. Maldijo a su sonrisa y a su dulzura, porque eso, eso era lo que la había metido en ese problema.”
L.A. Brier, Rock Therapy

“Asscrown," I muttered under my breath as I headed to my next class. I wasn't proud of swearing at a complete stranger, no. but he started it.

Noah matched my pace. "Don't you mean 'assclown'?" He looked amused.

"No," I said, louder this time. "I mean asscrown. The crown on top of the asshat that covers the asshole of the assclown. The very zenith in the hierarchy of asses," I said, as though I was reading from a dictionary of modern profanity.

"I guess you nailed me then.”
Michelle Hodkin, The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer

“This was the boy I loved. A little bit messy. A little bit ruined. A beautiful disaster. Just like me.”
Michelle Hodkin, The Evolution of Mara Dyer

“What could I say? Noah, despite you being an asshole, or maybe because of it, I'd like to rip off your clothes and have your babies.”
Michelle Hodkin, The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer

“Girls like her were born in a storm. They have lightning in their souls. Thunder in their hearts. And chaos in their bones.”
Nikita Gill

“The monsters were never
under my bed.
Because the monsters
were inside my head.

I fear no monsters,
for no monsters I see.
Because all this time
the monster has been me.”
Nikita Gill
