I simply love the journey of story.

As an avid reader, there are few genres and sub-genres I won't try, although I did finally implement librarian Nancy Pearl's infamous 50-page rule a few years ago.

So this fascination with story, plus the endless chatter of the voices in my head, fueled my writing journey. I also love to use writing--especially essay and longform non-fiction--as a means to understand our shared humanity, and how we continue to connect with one another. Of course, this happens with fiction, too, but I've primarily written non-fiction to this point. (less)
