Suzanne grew up in Heysham Village, Lancashire, the UK and studied history before launching a career in fundraising and marketing for International NGOs.

She has lived in London, Geneva, Rome, Bangkok and Panama and loves exploring the history and stories of the places she lives.

She has a particular fascination with legends, pirates and Roman history and loves combining this with contemporary murder mystery stories. She also likes reading (and writing) 'Chick-lit' especially when it has a colorful cast and is set in a fabulous location (Check out her debut novel The Bookshop of Panama).

She now lives in New York, USA, with her husband Francesco and two cats Mimi and Bunny.
