Sophia an author of hopeful adventure stories of eco-bravery, queer connection and metaphysical mischief based in Vancouver, Canada. She keeps a messy garden and loves all four of her callings: writing, composing and performing music, teaching, and helping businesses and non-profits do good things better.

Sophia is an expert about some of the subjects she writes about – ecological sustainability, queer relationships, and magic. She is sadly not yet an expert on time travel or goats, but studied physics for a time at UBC on a math and physics scholarship. She has a web development and marketing company in Vancouver Canada.

Sophia liked an answer from Lois McMaster Bujold: I'm a bit confused about Umegat's groom, Daris. At the end of the book, it seems implied that Daris was the man Umegat fell in love with, when he was in the Roknari islands. But Umegat says that man was hanged, so what is Daris's story? Umegat's first love was indeed horribly executed. Daris was a later love. Who also ran into grave perils, presumably on some joint spying mission, possibly against the Golden General's forces, but at least he survived. There might have been a heroic See Lois’s answer. He said of you, "One of the Best craftsman working in science fiction today." I've since devoured nearly everything you've written. He also said, "Wants to have her Babies." Then clarified by saying, he would personally bear children for you. He's a big fan. Are you aware of this proposal from Jim?
