Welcome! My name is W.A, and I am a self-published indie author. I have been writing since high school as a hobby; however, I never considered publishing a book until the birth of my awesome daughter a few years ago. As I watch her grow up, I try to envision a world where she could be the main heroine saving the day, and I want to bring that world to life in written form. I have been happily married for over a decade and have graduated from the College of Central Florida. My family also has two rescues, an older schnauzer, and a stereotypical ‘spicy’ tabby cat. I am incredibly grateful that you took the time to visit my page, and I hope that you will consider reading my books. Enjoy your journey through The Color Stream.

“Persevere! Have diligence! Trials are only temporary and cannot outlive time.”

“When we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.”
Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

“Writers, of course, are obliged by our professions to spend much of our time going nowhere. Our creations come not when we’re out in the world, gathering impressions, but when we’re sitting still, turning those impressions into sentences. Our job, you could say, is to turn, through stillness, a life of movement into art. Sitting still is our workplace, sometimes our battlefield.”
Pico Iyer, The Art of Stillness: Adventures in Going Nowhere
