I was born in a small town in Oregon's mid-Willamette valley. I attended the first eight grades of school in a small country school with two classrooms and six graduating the eighth grade. I then went to Lebanon High School, a school of almost 1,000 students, and graduated in 1962.

I married and had four children, a son and three daughters. In my late sixties, I began writing a blog, which was the basis for my first publishing venture, Tidbits and Pearls.

Now in my seventies, I am a self-employed gardening with The Traveling Gardener, its seventeenth season.

My interests are many and varied as I enjoy creating things with my hands, but my faith and family are my priorities. ...more
