Katherine Matzen is the author of the Beryllian Alliance series and works in a biomedical research lab by day. She writes science fiction with romance and a strong dose of optimism, and hope. No matter how dark the journey gets, everything will work out the way it’s supposed to.
She lives in Colorado with her husband, teenager, two huskies, several goldfish, two guinea pigs, and four hermit crabs. She’s always wanted to meet some nice aliens and maybe stow away on their ship for a vacation. She’ll pass on the bad guys out to destroy the universe, thank you very much.

Hope always...and aliens. Because life is far more interesting that way.
