Many thanks for your support!

I would like to thank you for your interest and support. It means a lot to me, while I’m writing the sequel. I know how modest my presence on social media is, bur reconciling full time work, family life and writing is already a huge challenge. I try to communicate with you as much as I can. Please feel free to give me tips and advice on what you would like to see. And thank you for being here, being there for me and my novel. You my readers are my greatest inspiration and motivation, giving me the force and the perseverance to carry on!

FREE SIGNED COPIES OF THE NEW EDITION

Hi everyone!

I'm sorry for having been. absent for such a long time! I was busy editing Rob My Heart and Hope to Die.

You will (re) discover my novel in an entirely new edition at Pegasus Publishing. You'll find a link on Goodreads to share.

The provisional release date is on March 27!

I WANT TO OFFER A SIGNED COPY TO MY FIRST SUPPORTIVE READERS (those who rated the book, and my followers).

PLEASE HELP ME TO REACH OUT TO YOU, since I need your address to post your gift.

PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP, since the editor might make changes to my Goodreads page.

You can send me a message via Goodreads to claim your copy and I'll tell you how you can contact me privately.

Many thanks for being there during all these years of hesitation and doubt. I would have done a Kafka style auto-da-fé of my manuscript if not for your ratings. You gave me the courage and the boldness to take a step further!

Many thanks,

Agatha

Gofund.me

Hi
If you would like to help me to publish my novel properly with proofreading and a professional cover, you might consider contributing to the costs here : https://gofund.me/e638ecbc
I would be grateful for your help.
If it works out well, my second novel could be published directly by a well known publishing house.
As much as a dollar would be a sign of encouragement.
You can also find my campaign on Kickstart.
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...
It’s very difficult to balance privacy and being visible. If you could just relay my project on social networks it would be a huge help for me.

Thank you for just being there, for reading my novel, for being my best and favorite readers.

Agatha

Exciting News

Hi,
I've got some exciting news: I've received a proposition from an editor. It's an opportunity to see my work turn into a real, edited, and proofread book.
However, I must participate in the edition costs. It's not that expensive, but I can’t contract a loan without my husband's approval. I've never told him I wrote the book (I never told anyone, except you, my beloved readers :) and I'd prefer not to tell him unless I make some money out of it instead of spending what we don't have on ads or publishing. It's already difficult to pay for our kids' studies (why is Tennessee Ernie Ford's 16 Tons my favorite song?).
May you be willing to help me, you can contact me at agatha.de.loon@gmail.com, or make a small donation, the email address is Pay-Pal-able. Most evidently, a signed author's copy will be sent to anyone contributing in any way.

Thank you simply for being there, my readers, my friends, thank you for your enthusiasm, and your encouragement. Good reading to all!

Agatha

Off line while writing ... back to you soon!

I'm sorry about my absence on all platforms.
Here is the crux: I'm writing my new book Chesnut Honey.
It's very hard to keep a balance between full-time work and looking after my published novel. As you know, I wrote Rob My Heart secretly. I need to find some time when I'm free and alone to check on the sales and try to advertise ... But with an insignificant budget pinched out of the scarce shopping money, choosing between ads and a new pair of shoes, it's a hard line to walk and practically ineffective. I'd need help but I have no idea who to turn to. (If you have, I'm all ears. I'd really appreciate some sympathy and support! You can reach out to me anytime at agatha.de.loon@gmail.com)
I wanted to give up, but I can't. It's like losing everything... it's like accepting that all efforts were in vain, and betraying those who appreciated my work and understood what I was getting at.
This year I have to work part-time, which doesn't help with the ads ... but I do have some free time. I stopped trying to do what I'm very bad at, such as social media and branding (I hardly even started anyway) This is the year when I have a breach to write out the next part of my story, and I'm trying to focus on it as much as I can.
It's neither a sequel nor an entirely new novel. If you've seen the movie "Inception", that's the closest idea of how this new novel works. Falling even deeper, digging even further, exploring the boundaries of our existence and the discrepancies between our sweetest desires and the reality of the world. If you have tasted chestnut honey at least once in your life, you already have this bittersweet sensation on the tip of your tongue...
I'll hope you can wait and you'll be around when I'm ready to share it with you. I don't have much time left. Life is too short to procrastinate. Writing should come first. A book can be published, advertised, and appreciated even if its author passed away. Writing is only possible while we still have time...

Chestnut Honey

Eventually I decided nothing matters more than writing. Marketing, advertising, networking are far beyond my skills and interests and especially means. I can't afford ads, so what? This stupid but dramatic reality at the core of edition business should not hold me back from writing my next novel. I may be writing for posterity or simply to no avail. I don't care. I shouldn't care. I don't give a ... thought ...for those who think my English or my style is not up to it. They know nothing of languages, they know nothing of reading between the lines or how souls can link and communicate beyond language when they are on similar ground no matter the part of the world where they actually are. What bothers me most in this popularity fallback, is all those people who would have loved my stories, who would have needed them to carry on or to move on, and who don't know about them at all. I was surely too much relying on my readers to create a buzz in their circles. I was wrong. If I can hardly assume to be the writer, how would it be easier for anyone to assume in the public eye that they liked the story? I felt bitter and let down after the attacks on the book's page and not one of my readers taking my defense. I realized a multipurpose account might be a susceptibility: it's on a crossroads of different aspects of one's customer profile whereas Goodreads is just about writing. Rating on one site or the other might be a different kind of step to take. It's unfair on my part to feel upset. You gave me so much already. I rather owe you. So, I have started to write the next ... the next 'level', I would say, rather than a new story or a sequel. And once again, I will dedicate it to my ultime reader I would like so desperately reach but I never will. Should I one day happen on someone who'd accept to help me one way or the other, all the universe would no longer appear to me as a mighty stranger.
