Lawrence Savage is a Sierra Leonean-born poet, novelist, and writer. With family in both Norway and the United States, he spent much of his upbringing moving between the two countries, developing a multicultural perspective that informs much of his work.

He moved to the United Kingdom in 2018 to complete his legal studies at the University of Essex, during which time he began writing fiction. He is the author of Love Hates Us All and The Drive to Ashlake Road.

His writing explores the social, cultural, and emotional realities of a generation shaped across the aughts and twenty-twenties, with particular focus on early adulthood, identity, relationships, mental health, and the complexities of transition into adulthood. His work often engages wi ...more
