This is it

I am learning the true meaning of being a struggling artist. I finally quit my part time job and am now writing, promoting, and worrying full time.

I never realized how much work actually goes into being a full time author. It is insane the amount of time that you have to put into promoting your work as an independent author.

I am so thankful to have found some amazing readers who have become so much more than that to me. They have become my friends and are now helping me in the promotional aspect of my work. I am so freaking thankful and if any of you read this, just know I am literally hugging you so hard that your eyeballs are poppin'. I would be lost without you guys!

So with that being said, I have watched as my book sales have went to a level where I definitely do not want them to be and as selfish as this may sound, everytime I send free copies to people, I get such strong mixed emotions that I literally want to cry.

I know that this is something that I am going to have work hard at for years and years before I am anywhere close to where I want to be as an author.

So this is it, I am here to stay and from this day forward, there is nothing that is going to discourage me anymore.

Book 3

I am off to a good start on book three. The title is officially Fighting For Hope. Or to keep with the scheme of my other two books in the series, F.f.H.

This one is going to be deeper and meatier than my other 2 because it is going to dig into not only Jasper and HayleAnna, but also Nikoli and AZ.

For those of you who haven't read either book yet, Nikoli is the half Russian weapons trainer at B.A.T.T- Bridgemore Academy of Technical Training. and he is also a hoe. A sexy ass hoe but a hoe nonetheless. Oh and he is Jasper's best friend.

AZ is our resident slut who swings both ways and doesn't give a shit who catches what she throws, as long as she gets what she wants, which is off.
She is Anna's roommate and sometimes the comedic relief of life training for the military.

Both AZ and Nikoli are going to be getting their own Novella's after the release of Fighting for Hope.

Funk

For the last week, I have written SHIT. Literal and actual shit. Well I guess it is less than shit actually, because it was nothing. I haven't even wanted to open my computer.

Today I sat my fat ass down and said, "Today you are going to fricking write. You have so much shit to finish self." Of course I was right. I do have a ton of stuff to finish, but the only thing my brain and my fingers wanted to do was start book three in THRS. SOoooo, I did.

I am already in love with this book and I am literally only four pages into it. Nikoli is coming out this go round. It has been so hard keeping him contained, but hey with a shattered leg, at least I didn't have to chase him down heehhee.

I am feeling way more into my element now and as soon as my kiddos go back to school, I am going to start writing even more and working on making this blog better .

First Ever Blog Post

EEEkkkk! Hello Clarice. Just kidding, but really Hi y'all!

I am not sure how this blog thing works. I have read a shit ton of blogs, but never really thought about writing one.

Well here goes nothing.

I am Rebecca, I am one of the authors of E.R.A. My little sister co wrote our debut novel with me, but as you will soon find out, I wrote the second book completely alone. I am not really sure what to think about it yet. Not the book it self because it is amazing, but the not writing with her. She had some life events happened to caused her to not be able to write and understanding that E.R.A was my dream, told me that she didn't mind if I continued without her.
So, I did. Anyway I want to use my first blog post to tell you guys a little bit about me.

I am 29 years old and I am the mother of 4 amazing boys. I have been happily married for almost 10 years and I wouldn't trade a minute of the laughs, heartache and life that I have lived with him.
I am from N.E Oklahoma and I am an avid supporter of legalizing Marijuana, which you will find in used in all of my books. Every time I lit a joint, so did my characters.
I love reading anything fictional. I do not like to read anything that non-fiction because I use reading to escape reality and find my happy place. I don't want to have anything that really happened invading my fantasy land lol.
UMMMMM I work part time as a cashier and truthfully I can't wait to quit my job. When I can actually stay home and just write, I will have accomplished my goal.

I look forward to getting to know my readers, not just on a " Thank you for reading my book, what was your name" level but a personal level. I want you to know that when I ask how your doing, I mean it because I do care.

My readers are more than just a paycheck to me, however much of a perk that may be, you guys have seen inside my head and there really is no going back from that!!

So if you have read my debut, Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and if you haven't, well let's see if I can convince you.

I hope you guys have kind of maybe enjoyed this haphazard blog post and I do look forward to hearing from you.
