I am a Christian freelance writer who has sold more than 300 manuscripts for publication. Throughout my life, I have also worked as a registered nurse, piano teacher, bookkeeper, and para-educator. I earned a B.A. in Music Ministry as a senior citizen, reflecting my belief that it is never too late to learn, grow, and follow where God leads.

Writing prayer poems and worship songs has been an important part of my own journey of faith. During difficult seasons of life, writing helped me cope with emotional storms, find healing, and restore a deeper relationship with God. Many of these poems and songs have grown out of my personal experiences and desire to encourage others.

Depend on the Lord's Might

In freelance writing, as in other jobs, we need to depend on the Lord's strength to work at it in a way that will glorify Him. Zechariah 4:6 says "Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit says the Lord Almighty___you will succeed because of my Spirit, though you are few and weak."
