Welcome, welcome! Sit by the fire! Okay, perhaps not that close, unless you want to end up in the stew. I...am Shad Nemo Freud. Yes, yes, I know. Hard to believe, isn't it? Bask in my glorious presence, and ignore the pasty nerd behind the laptop writing my words. For you see, he is but the vessel, channeling my genius whenever he isn't busy pickling his brain with cheap gin and clogging his arteries with corn chips. He is but a puppet that puts my words on the screen. He is beneath your contempt.
Oh, sure, he may occasionally grunt something that sounds intelligible. Pay it no mind, it's simply the two neurons in his skull firing on the rare instance that they smash into each other. It's been happening rather infrequently of late. I have to keep dragging him back to the keyboard with empty promises of drunken revelry and lechery with the scabrous prostitutes in the seedier parts of town.
As to why you're here...I enjoy talking to my fans. And, what better way for me to find out who they are than to make a direct appeal to you good people by asking you to message me with any questions, comments, or even complaints. They sustain me. And, I vow that for each review, good or ill, my books receive, I will put a shiny new quarter into my nerd's candy jar fund.
Ah. It seems some of you may be a bit...put off by my oration. You may be telling yourself that this...author is just another inflated cranium whose arrogance is only exceeded by the tininess of his genitalia. And let me just say that...I'll be pleading the 5th. In the mean time, I have books to write, you have books to read, and the shaved ape I'm using as a writing medium has biological needs to attend to.
