This book was a challenge to me. Can I write dark fantasy, can I show another world and its creatures with ethics that is different than ours? Did I make it? It’s up to you, readers.
Fairies aren’t all light and kind things to me you know. I always thought of them as severe creatures. Then I read Meredith by L. Hamilton and it reflected my vision perfectly. Dark and cruel creatures but nevertheless not the incarnation of evil. They can love and hate. They can feel.
