Kandle’s work touches on loss, love, healing, and mystery. It took her four long years working with editors to eventually complete the Hidden trilogy. And it coincided with a period in her life where the loss of loved ones, a pandemic, and countrywide social unrest, left her at times; emotionally and mentally drained. However, Kandle decided to use these happenings as motivation. Allowing them to shape her into becoming a stronger person. In addition to writing, drawing, and working to change the stigma surrounding mental health — Kandle in her downtime also enjoys hanging out with family, watching her two sons play sports; and indulging in reality tv.
