Jesse Q Sutanto grew up shuttling back and forth between Jakarta and Singapore and sees both cities as her homes. She has a Masters degree from Oxford University, though she has yet to figure out a way of saying that without sounding obnoxious. She is currently living back in Jakarta on the same street as her parents and about seven hundred meddlesome aunties. Jesse Sutanto answered Kira's question: Do you think the Well, That Was Unexpected/Didn't See That Coming universe has potential to expand further? They were some of the first ever books I read about teenage Indonesian girls and I love them both! Oh gosh, thank you so much!! I really appreciate this! Unfortunately, the books did not do well, so I doubt I will have the opportunity to expand further.
