Jane Badger runs the publishing company Jane Badger Books, which specialises in finding and reprinting classics of horse fiction.

Her own books include Heroines on Horseback, a gallop around the world of children's pony fiction and Ruby Ferguson and the Jill Books, which looks at the author of the best loved British pony series of all. She's also written a continuation of the Jill series, Jill and the Lost Ponies.

She lives in the Midlands with her family and an extremely large cat.

A few years ago I contacted you regarding 'Mr. Buffin and his Grey Mare' by Robert Hartman, which you included as a 'horse' book. I had been collecting this series for years. I am still missing some but recently bought 'Mr. Buffin’s Holiday with Mildred'.
