Darak the Minotaur: Omnibus (Excerpt)

His hoofs clicked on the rocky stairs, he held his knife up and ready.
He hoped the stairs would end soon, but as he continued walking-he began to figure this is all he’d be doing for quite a while.
Springing from one corner, a guard who held two knives in each hand, he yelled.
He sliced Darak’s armpit, then cut Darak’s cheek.

“Darak heaved the thick branch over his head and crushed another soldier, his body practically exploded upon impact, sending limbs, a geyser of blood and pieces of brain matter up towards the stars.
- Darak the Minotaur”
JA Flynn

“I smelt death. I never had smelt it before, but I knew it was the stench of departure from life.
- Darak 5, Excerpt”
J.A. Flynn

“I watched as this behemoth as he battled the goblins, swinging his fiery torch. Once the fire touched the creatures in the cave, they succumbed to death quickly with a pig-like squeal of agony.
They used their tiny claws to slash the minotaurs’ flesh, but his fur was to thick and he batted them off like one might a mosquito. One he could deal with, but they were surrounding him, clawing at him, like some black mass of flies.
I watched from a corner, I could do nothing with no weapon. I heard Darak yell angrily, batting the creatures away with both flame and fist.”
J.A. Flynn
