Egyptian trip
I spent the winter solstice in one of my favourite places, Karnak Temple in Egypt which is featured in Crystals and Sacred Sites. The Smithsonian Institute reckoned it was the best place in the world to view the sunrise and I have to agree with them. Singing, dancing, huge celebrations, orbs everywhere and the star of the show was Ra himself, rising splendidly over the temple.
