The Heartbreak Sheriff...New Release and Giveaway
Well, it's a new year and I get to celebrate a new release too--The Heartbreak Sheriff, the second book in my Small-Town Scandals mini-series. This story features Finn, the gruff, sexy sheriff who's looking for a second chance with the woman he loves---except he just arrested her, so that second chance might be a tad difficult to earn...

Villains
You're probably wondering why I have a picture of Ray Liotta in this blog post. Here's why. I've been thinking about villains today, trying to figure out what I want the villain in the story I'm working on to look like. I can either go with a guy who really looks the villain part, or someone average-looking, maybe even handsome, that you would never picture as a villain.

You're driving me nuts, baby
Babies are cute. They smell really nice (most of the time) and they make the sweetest noises (most of the time). We like holding them and seeing them smile and showing them off...but do they have a place in romantic suspense books? I'm discovering that they don't--or at least that they make it really hard to focus on sexual tension or love scenes.

Murder Mysteries and Heroes
I've been a terrible blogger, I know. If I had a new book out, I'd totally have something to rave about and hold contests and have a blast, but alas, my new releases won't be until later this year, so for now, all I can do is blabber on about the book I'm currently writing and hope that it sparks your interest.
