Happy Wednesday fellow readers and writers.
My dad once said, 'Sit on the front porch, sip your coffee, smell the petunias, and pet the cat, it soothes the soul.'
Many years later, I understand what he meant. I would perhaps add, read a book to his list.

Have a good day everyone and don't forget to soothe your soul.

An enjoybable read. I was disappointed in the almost total lack of moral restraint in the main characters. In my opinion, this did not fit the time frame of the story.

The Insomniacs by Allison Winn Scotch

The title drew me in as an insomniac myself. I've struggled with sleep my entire life, so I was curious about how the condition would be worked into the narrative. This is a character driven thriller that was a page turner for sure but also doesn'" Read more of this review »

The Bright Years by Sarah Damoff
"I loved this story; it brought many different feelings while I was reading it. The power of addiction is real and the torments that family and friends go through was depicted well in this story. I highly recommend. "

Hi Patrick,
You are welcome. So many good books, so little time. Happy reading.

Patrick Hi Nora,
Thank you for the friendvite. I had almost forgotten how much I have enjoyed James Patterson over the years. I truly enjoy James Lee Burke's 'Dave Robicheaux series as well as Mark Greaney's 'Gray Man' series.
Have a great day!
