I was born in 1967 - putting me into the old, but not ancient category. I graduated from high school in Dutchess county, NY and then embarked on a tour of some of the finest universities in NY that were in my price range.

Graduation included a degree in history and secondary education which, naturally, became a career in teaching social studies. I taught in the same school for 33 years, retired and then went back to teach English for a short stint. My career saw various roles in our teacher's union from building representative to union president.
