I am a big fan of book clubs. I was a member of a club for many years when I lived in Tampa, and I still drop in on occasion when I’m in town. I love sitting around with a group of folks, discussing plot and characters and why the characters made certain choices. Now that my first novel is complete, I’m enjoying the book club process in a different way. Today I participated in my third, joining the conversation at Hooked on Books in Islamorada, Florida. Great group of women and a lively conversation. In addition to discussing Windblown with my group in Tampa, I’ve also had a fantastic session over FaceTime with a wonderful book club in Massachusetts.
