As a teacher, I fell into writing and illustrating children's books with the birth of my daughter, Millie. As Millie grew and began to read herself, it occurred to me, that parents juggling their own careers and busy lives, may appreciate a little extra from a reading book for their new reader.

Are you looking for a series of fun educational stories with exercises made to help new readers reinforce their reading skills? Each book in the series 'A little Reader's Friend' begins by looking at a particular skill covered in the early years of school. For example punctuation, capital letters or reading comprehension.
