For over a decade, M.C. has written fiction and non-fiction, and his latest work, Outland, spotlights his ability to interweave big ideas and world-build while still telling a riveting and fresh fantasy story with compelling characters. While Outland is M.C.’s first published novel, there are several other speculative fiction stories planned.

M.C. has a degree in Sociology from the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, as well as experience in freelance consulting for various known authors and organizations.

When M.C. isn’t writing, he spends his free time with his wife, Britt, and two dogs, Snuggles and Buster. He also loves listening to and playing music, reading, and trying new foods.

There's always something that needs doing, and if writing the next word, sentence, or paragraph in a story just isn't happening, there's always something else I could be doing to move the story forward and make progress: editing, social media presence, character/world-building, etc. Ideally, I'll have something that I want to write, even if it's not in the story I should be working on, and if I visit that, it often gets the juices flowing.(less)
