Do your research; prep yourself with most of the knowledge you need to make the world and characters you choose to portray feel real. You can do additional research along the way!

Read it aloud; read your drafts aloud to check that sentences make sense and flow well off the tongue.

Keep at it; no one said this writing malarkey was easy!(less)
