If it's a matter of stress, anxiety, or just not being able to focus, I find that white noise (waterfalls/rain), and incense help me chill. If I'm stuck on a part of the story, I take a step back and make sure I'm clear on the basic framework of where it's going. Sometimes I will write from a different character's perspective or write the back story for a side character or villain. It probably won't make it in the story but usually I just needed to see things a different way or get to know my character better.(less)
