The early stages of writing a book is challenging. They say don't think just write but that's not that simple. I tend to overthink when it comes to writing. The pressure is self-inflicted. I thought buying a huge white board and throwing up ideas and character breakdowns would be helpful. It has been helpful to a degree, but I'm still in the infancy stages.

I wish I could wake up one morning and just write for hours and be done. If it was only that easy, I would be on top of the world. The journey will be well worth it when it's complete.

Until then it's back to the regurgitation of ideas back on the white board and see what sticks.

Stretch

They say writing a book is one of the hardest things to do in the world. I have to concur on that sentiment but that isn't stopping me! I am so proud of my first book, Last Request and the positive feedback that it has received thus far.

I guess you can say I am a glutton for punishment because I decided to do it again. :)

That's right! I have started outlining book #2! I will be sharing my experiences on the journey here with you and I can't wait to have it ready for you to read!
