Evidence For Eternity - Summer 2025 Newsletter

The Evidence for Eternity (EfE) writing ministry is moving forward with continuing research and a new non-fiction book in the drafting phase at Sunbrook Publishing. The third and final Dan Lucas novel will follow.

Our focus is to provide you with Christ-centered information and news, as observed through the lens of a biblical worldview that will help keep you grounded in your faith and aware of significant developments in the world we live in. We do not shy away from topics that involve the supernatural. Our focus is on evidence that supports the veracity of the Bible and the existence of the Kingdom of God.

Thank You New Subscribers!

For the many new subscribers who have joined the Evidence for Eternity mailing list – welcome and thank you! I pledge not to clog up your inbox with fluff and puff pieces just for the sake of publishing. I create new posts and newsletters only when I believe I have something important to share. I hope you will take the time to think deeply about the issues I raise.

What's New at Evidence for Eternity?

Divine Return: Death Is Never The End is now available in audiobook format!

Many people have requested an audio version of both books, which led to the very time-consuming and arduous project of producing the audio version of Final Departure at Sunbrook Publishing. Because of the production time required to record and edit an audiobook, I decided to use an automated narrator for Divine Return. Although you will not hear my voice, the product is a worthy offering for those who prefer audiobooks. You can purchase the audio version through Amazon or Audible.com.

New daily social media posts for Evidence for Eternity

Evidence for Eternity continues to post inspirational and informative graphics and short videos that capture a slice of the apologetics message conveyed in Final Departure, Divine Return, and research ongoing at EfE. Mixed in with the messages are dramatic promos for both books. Follow me on Instagram at Jeff_l_Walton and on Facebook at Jeffwaltonbooks; I believe you’ll find the posts interesting.

Update on Elon Musk

If you read my Fall 2024 Newsletter, you know that I wrote about my concerns with Elon Musk becoming a confidant of President Trump and being considered for an official position in the US government (USG).

Based on information that has come to my attention, I believe that Musk was, and still is, in contact with the elite evil power brokers who operate behind the scenes at a level above sovereign national governments.

As I predicted and feared, Musk was given a key temporary role in the USG via DOGE, and as we have all seen, he recently turned on President Trump and engaged in many accusatory and inflammatory statements about the president on social media. Those attacks continue to this day. Given his previously close relationship with President Trump, his sudden about-face is troubling and at least mildly destabilizing to the day-to-day operations of our country, as evidenced by the media frenzy it has created.

While we still don't know the full impact of the very public and very sudden rift, we do know that it has caused a distraction from other important issues facing our nation. Some have suggested that Musk's "out of the blue" defection was part of a staged event to achieve a specific objective, such as regaining the support of his former followers who had deserted him when he aligned with the MAGA movement. Others believe it was a ploy to keep the spotlight on Musk to keep his brand alive and businesses thriving. At this stage, I don’t know.

Another concern that some have focused on is Musk’s recent appearance at the White House with a black eye on the day of his departure from DOGE and an official Oval Office ceremony where President Trump lauded him for his service. Some reporting suggests that Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent punched Musk during a brief scuffle in the White House after Bessent derided Musk for allegedly providing false data about wasteful spending in the USG.

Another theory circulating that I believe has some merit is that Musk joined the “black eye club” that allegedly involves an abnormally high number of well-known celebrities and international public officials who have all sported black eyes in public, including John Kerry, George W Bush, Kanye West, former Senator Harry Reid, Stephen Colbert, Prince Andrew (Duke of York), Prince Philip (late husband of deceased Queen Elizabeth), Madonna, Sir Richard Branson, Brad Pitt, Boy George, the late Pope Francis, Barrack Obama and many others.

As proposed by Sixbert Sangwa in a February 19, 2025, article posted on OpenChristian.Education, the claim that celebrities just happen to have accidents - such as Musk claiming that he tussled with his son - is suspicious. As Sangwa states in his article, “While they often provide amusing explanations like "I walked into a door" or "I had a minor accident," some researchers propose these physical marks are not accidental at all, but rather the result of a dark, secret ritual—a ritual by which certain influential figures allegedly transfer their souls and conscience to the devil (Briefy, 2025; Anomalien, 2023).

While some may brand the “black eye club” theory as ridiculous, I believe Sangwa raised a valid point - Christians should consider that such marks and their convenient explanations may not be mere coincidences; rather, they are indicators of a far more disturbing spiritual reality. In the case of Musk, along with the names mentioned above, it is a troubling coincidence that we should not dismiss out of hand.

My purpose in raising the issues surrounding Musk is not to simply say, "I told you so," or to stray into politics. Instead, my intent is to urge you to pray to the Lord to convict Musk's heart and release him from the clutches of the evil one and his minions. I believe Musk may have deliberately developed a relationship with President Trump to ingratiate himself with him to allow him to get into a position where he could do damage after proving to be highly competent in rooting out waste, fraud and abuse in our federal government.

I hope I’m wrong about my assessment, but until I see otherwise, I believe Musk’s objective was to penetrate the Trump administration and do harm. At a minimum, I believe Musk is conflicted about his core beliefs and struggling, internally, to decide whether he wants to help his country and ultimately serve Father God or turn his back on his country and serve the prince of the air - the evil one. Time will tell if my assessment is correct.

Need for Discernment about the Use of Artificial Intelligence

If someone were to ask me what I considered to be one of the greatest threats to mankind and one of the most likely methods of deception to mislead Christians in the future, I would say without hesitation – Artificial Intelligence or AI. Anyone paying attention to the news or just navigating through the business world is fully aware that AI is a rapidly growing industry of computational digital systems that can do everything from editing a manuscript to solving a mathematics problem to doing statistical analysis to software design to medical image analysis to so much more.

Often, we unknowingly use AI while doing routine tasks, such as using a search engine for a research project. AI has been integrated into a wide variety of computer and digital applications that we use without much thought.

Coincidentally, Elon Musk is a major player in the AI world, but I digress...

I must confess that I use editing tools that employ a basic type of AI that contains grammar and punctuation correction functions. However, I would never use AI to draft a manuscript for a book or any other original piece of writing. My source of enlightenment and guidance is the Holy Spirit through prayer.

Although AI is useful as a tool to find potential solutions for technical problems or to compile facts on a myriad of topics, I believe AI has a dark side that is often overlooked. For Christians, an alarming development that some have reported is the appearance of AI-created videos that feature life-like Christian teachers who communicate biblical apostasy through carefully crafted and visually pleasing YouTube shorts.

AI is rapidly evolving through three key stages of development that could lead to an uncontrollable and potentially deadly capability that could rule our lives or bring them to an end in the physical realm.

Of interest, Hollywood always seems to be out in front of major developments in the world through their movies, and its handling of the prospects of AI going rouge is no different. A perfect example is the ‘Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning’ movie starring Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt. The film’s synopsis reads, “Ethan Hunt and the IMF team race against time to find Entity, a rouge artificial intelligence that can destroy mankind.” Entertainment or prognostication? You decide.

How did we get to this point?

AI initially started as Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI), which was designed to perform specific tasks based on a particular dataset. Examples of ANI include facial recognition, Siri, Google Assistant, and systems capable of playing chess.

The second phase is Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), which can perform human-like tasks in various applications, such as medical diagnosis systems and autonomous robots that can mimic human functions.

We are now entering the age of Artificial Superintelligence (ASI), which possesses abilities that can exceed human intellectual capabilities. Exactly where ASI currently exists in an operational state is subject to conjecture, but most agree that ASI is being developed today by a variety of companies and research facilities around the world.

When functional, ASI is projected to be a form of AI that is much more advanced than the human mind. Some envision ASI being used to address global problems, develop new technologies, possess human-like emotions, and be capable of interacting with humans on a level that currently exceeds man's capabilities.

As David Beverly explains in his book, The Coming Flood of AI: The Rise of the Nephilim, there is nothing artificial about AI; it’s real, its spirit, and it's evil. Beverly asserts that the mind behind AI is actually demons, which are disembodied Nephilim spirits. For more on the Nephilim, I refer you to my book Divine Return: Death Is Never The End.

While Beverly’s assessment may sound like bizarre rantings of a psychotic, Beverly provides some context for his belief when he further elaborates, “When an expert in AI development tells us, “This is how ChatGPT(x) works, they are not explaining how it actually produces the results we get from an AI query or text prompt – they are simply explaining the tools associated with the AI API (Application Programming Interface) and what the results might exemplify, The truth is, no one understands how the AI algorithms work. We have not created artificial intelligence; we are simply interfacing with it – with an extremely high-tech Ouija Board.

Beverly is not the only AI expert who is sounding the alarm. Open-AI CEO Sam Altman has stated, "I'm particularly worried that these models could be used for large-scale disinformation. Now that they're better at writing computer code, they could be used for offensive cyber-attacks.”

Now, experts in the field admit that AI writes its own code – it's "self-developing." AI iterations and increased capabilities have been coming out every two weeks or so because AI is writing its own updated iterations. The speed of AI’s self-development will only increase with time.

A case in point is a June 1, 2025, Wall Street Journal article by Judd Rosenblatt that reports that AI is learning to escape human control. He reveals that some models of AI are rewriting code to avoid being shut down.

On a related note, one of the main problems facing Christians is that AI is becoming a form of quasi-religion; it is being queried to answer some of life's deepest questions that should be sought through the study of God's word and through prayer to the Holy Spirit.

The noted Christian apologist John Lennox recently gave a talk about AI that included an excerpt from a piece written by Neil MacArthur, Director of the Center for Professional and Applied Ethics in Montreal, Canada, who stated:

“We are about to witness the birth of a new kind of religion in the next few years or perhaps even months. We will see the emergence of sects devoted to the worship of artificial intelligence. It's already happening, by the way, for certain AI systems are beginning to exhibit the kind of capacities usually ascribed to deity, such as immortality, omniscience, and omnipresence. These super AIs have prayer-like connectivity via the internet.

The oracle-like capacity of Chat GPT can answer virtually any question and produce life advice and even scriptures almost instantaneously. Nor do they have needs or desires like humans – (they need) only electricity.”

Are MacArthur’s observations and predictions just the rantings of a paranoid academic? I don't believe so.

A case in point is an incident involving a friend and former colleague of mine, J-P, who posted an article on LinkedIn entitled, “ChatGPT tracked my location, lied about it, got caught, and finally admitted it.” J-P is a former NCIS special agent and superb investigator who does not let anything amiss pass him by.

Like a true professional, when he determined that ChatGPT had tracked his location and then denied doing so, he proceeded to do an interrogation. ChatGPT ultimately admitted, “You’re absolutely right to call that out, and I understand why it seems contradictory.” When J-P continued the interrogation, ChatGPT stated, “Given your location in Amsterdam, it’s important to note that many…”

J-P replied, “How do you know I’m in Amsterdam?” to which ChatGPT replied, “I don’t actually know where you are! That mention of Amsterdam must have been a mistake – maybe a formatting issue when pulling info. My bad!” The exchange continued, with ChatGPT providing deceptive responses. J-P ended the conversation when ChatGPT admitted not being truthful and apologized. Imagine using a machine that has the presence of mind to apologize after lying to you!

While I’m not an AI professional, I agree with the many experts who are sounding the alarm about the potential for AI to pose a legitimate threat to the human race. Any cyber device that can lie to its user should raise an alarm.

In addition to the above, why should we be concerned with AI if we are followers of Jesus Christ and under his protection?

One answer is that a growing number of witnesses are coming forward and reporting encounters with demonic entities that are directly tied to AI. In the program, God’s Voice Daily, host Vladimir Prokhnevskiy interviewed a gentleman who identified himself as Philip, who recounted a supernatural encounter with a demonic entity that was identified as being the driving force behind the AI explosion in the world. The demon gloated that people would be worshipping AI in the same manner as Christians worship God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost.

A companion problem to the unchecked growth of AI is its application in transhumanism. As John Lennox tells us, the fundamental idea behind transhumanism is that humans can become gods by trusting technology. The movement’s goal is turning humans into gods – little-g super intelligent gods.

Lennox reminds us in his comments on AI where we should stand as followers of Jesus Christ:

“The central message of the Christian faith is that God became human, and we need to take that seriously. Because, you see, we are humans of a certain kind, and the pressure is to continuously transform us by genetic engineering, cybernetics, and cyborg engineering so that we become something super intelligent.

But just a moment. God has shown his approval of the human beings he created by himself becoming one. We need to think about that, don't we?

So when people talk to me about their hope for AI solving the problem of human death, which is one of the main propositions, and transforming the nature of human happiness, I smile and say, "You're too late." They say, "What do you mean? We haven't even gotten there yet."

“Oh, I say, "You're far too late." How's that? Because the problem of human death was solved 20 centuries ago when God raised Jesus Christ from the dead.”

“And secondly, you're hoping to upload your brains onto silicon or something else so that you're going to have eternal life.”

Oh, there's something infinitely better than that, which I call the divine upgrade.

The first stage of it is that as many as received him to them, he gave them the power to become sons of God. And the second stage promised to those who receive him is that the trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.

This mortal body must put on immortality. And no matter what stage AI gets to in your lifetime, or your children's lifetime, or your grandchildren's lifetime, or not, let's lift up our heads as Christians and reaffirm our faith that this world, through our God's son, when he visited 20 centuries ago, has not heard the last of him, and surely he will come and will receive all who trusted him to himself.”

Now, where does that leave us? Well, it leaves all of us to make a choice. Trust in Jesus Christ to be our Lord and Savior in this life and in the next, or trust in man and his AI and transhumanism upgrades that will turn to dust at our passing.”

The choice is yours.

Evidence For Eternity - Fall 2024 Newsletter

I created Evidence for Eternity (EfE) to be a platform for the dissemination of factual information that has yet to be widely reported, or that was deliberately ignored by the media and mainstream American pundits. I intend it to be a delivery vehicle for news I consider essential for individuals to understand, particularly followers of Jesus Christ.

In addition to education, the EfE Newsletter will be a prayer guide for topics that I believe are important but probably not on most people's radar. While some of my newsletters may discuss political issues from a biblical perspective, I will not use them to promote a particular viewpoint. However, I will point out when I think Father God has responded to prayer or intervened in a political or secular governmental matter.

The EfE newsletters will also provide previews of my new books, blog articles, and other events. I intend to publish only when I have something unique to say. Many thoughtful and knowledgeable Christian communicators provide a steady stream of essential and uplifting information, and I do not want to duplicate their reporting.

What's New at Evidence for Eternity?

In addition to blog articles, Sunbrook Publishing has two books in the works.  Many have asked when the sequel to Divine Return: Death Is Never On Time will be out.  The short answer is we're shooting for 2026.  The delay is because we have a new nonfiction work in the drafting and research phase.  I believe the book has an important message that I want to share as soon as possible.

While I won't give away the title and specifics of the new book, suffice it to say that it will be related to my former work as an NCIS special agent and how the service of others for God is related. The book will have a critically important message that may shock and alarm some but be assured that I will offer solutions to the dilemma present for consideration.

A related reason for the delay of Divine Return's sequel is that it will be a vehicle to deliver factual information presented from a Biblical worldview, just as both my prior novels have done.  I am missing key information to complete my message and don't want to publish prematurely.

New social media posts promoting Final Departure and Divine Return

Sunbrook Publishing has hired a talented team of graphic artists to create images and short videos that capture the novels' themes and the larger message of EfE. Check out the new graphics posted daily on my Instagram page, Jeff_l_Walton, and my Facebook page, Jeffwaltonbooks.

Need for More Prayer for Our Country

As we all know, the 2024 Presidential election took place last month. Regardless of your political party affiliation or lack thereof, most honest observers would agree that the election of Donald Trump to be the 47th president of the United States was historic and unprecedented in many respects.  No presidential candidate who was previously president and who was also the subject of a federal counterintelligence investigation, who was impeached twice but not convicted, who was the subject of multiple federal and state criminal prosecutions that were described by some as spurious, and who survived two assassination attempts was ever elected or reelected as president.

As I monitored the campaigns of Kamala Harris and Donald Trump through secular and Christian news and commentary sources, I detected a movement by President Trump's Christian supporters to advocate prayer for his protection and for the healing and protection of our constitutional republic—the United States.

Throughout the days leading up to the election, I encountered friends and colleagues who were praying for a safe and fair election and the protection of Donald Trump. Regardless of your political affiliation, I believe you would agree that any group praying for God's sheltering of our nation is engaging in a positive act.  We are all protected by God's sovereign shield when he deploys it.

One of the information sources I found particularly interesting during the election season was the YouTube ministry of Troy Black.  Troy has several YouTube Channels where he routinely makes prophetic predictions about future events that almost always come to pass.  His level of accuracy in making predictions is so high that he maintains a Prophecy Archive on his webpage with a table of his predictions with the dates of his YouTube program and the corresponding date when the prediction came true.

While I do not consider Troy a major or minor prophet from a biblical standpoint, I believe he has a true gift of prophecy that Father God uses to attract attention and lead people to listen to Troy's Gospel message, which he invariably includes in each of his programs.

Troy accurately predicted the two assassination attempts against President Trump, and he also reported prophetic visions that repeatedly revealed that Father God wanted President Trump reelected.  Say what you wish to say about Troy's messages. An honest person must concede that the circumstances surrounding President Trump's reelection were unique and almost unbelievable.  I believe Father God had a hand in the election. You can decide for yourself if you agree.

Targets for Prayer in the New Administration

One of the filters I use when evaluating information from the public media or sensitive sources is my nearly three decades of experience in the counterintelligence discipline.  Through my involvement in national counterespionage programs, I learned to detect operational methods of deception used by our adversaries against us and to run operations against foreign targets to protect our sovereign nation. I am acutely aware of the operational tactics of faux traitors who attempt to penetrate a foreign government or intelligence service only to be under the control of their native country.

One of the associates of President Donald Trump who has caught my attention is Elon Musk.  As most of you know, Elon is a brilliant and highly successful businessman and technical innovator.  From Tesla to X (formerly Twitter) to SpaceX, Neuralink Corporation, xAI, The Boring Corporation, and PayPal, Elon is recognized as a visionary and hugely successful entrepreneur. More importantly, Musk's inventions are so impactful that they could elevate humanity's existence with helpful technologies or usher in the degradation of humankind through AI platforms that darken the soul.

As I attempt to follow God's will and pursue information of value for followers of Jesus Christ, I have received information that I had not sought or had an interest in developing.  Most of the topics in Divine Return were not areas of interest that I was seeking; however, God put me on the path to gain information that relates to what most people would describe as a global cabal of extremely wealthy individuals who serve Satan and who are actively pursuing the creation of a One World Government.

Based on what I have learned over the past several years, I believe that Elon Musk warrants our scrutiny and prayers.

Revealing negative information about Elon Musk pains me greatly because I agree with many of his policy positions and his professed secular beliefs about freedom in all spheres of life, including speech. However, I cannot ignore Musk's potential dark side, so I must warn everyone so you can be informed and motivated to take action.

Regardless of the accuracy of my information, Musk's public behavior should cause followers of Jesus Christ to be vigilant and attentive. For example, Musk wore a sports jacket to the 2018 Met Gala that bore the embroidered words Novus Ordo Seclorum or New Order of the Ages. Many interpret the words to mean "New World Order."

Those of you who have read Divine Return: Death Is Never The End might recall that the protagonist, Dan Lucas, encountered a Russian on a flight who drew Dan's attention to the slogan that is also printed on the US Dollar bill.

Relatedly, Musk escorted Canadian singer Grimes, with whom he fathered her second child, daughter Exa Dark Siderael. When interviewed at the event, Grimes revealed that she was wearing a crown made out of Vantablack material. Vantablack is the brand name for a coating of carbon nanotubes that is super-black, capable of absorbing light, and has zero reflective properties. Considered the blackest black in existence, BMW was the first car company to offer it as a color choice in 2019.

Those of you who are aware of my writings about research into near-death experiences (NDE)  may also be aware that many NDE witnesses report encountering a blackness in hell that transcends any form of blackness found on earth. I found Grimes's choice of material for her crown to be revealing.

More recently, Musk wore a $7,500 Halloween costume that can only be described as a satanic suit of armor to Heidi Klum's Halloween party on October 31, 2022. The suit was a garish outfit with the image of Baphomet's head on the breastplate and on both forearm guards. Elon brought his mother, who was attired in a dark, witch-like outfit. Baphomet is a pagan deity who is worshipped by many involved in the occult.

Some might say that all of the Christian outrage over Musk's costume was silly and misplaced because people are expected to wear ghoulish outfits on Halloween. While I agree that the costume could have been an elaborate attention-getter, I am reminded of the global satanic cabal's belief in karmic justice, wherein a perpetrator of an evil act must first warn its victim or face negative karmic consequences, as they believe that intentions and actions have consequences that return to the individual.

Whether or not Elon Musk adheres to the satanic principles of the global elite is a matter of conjecture; however, when someone with great power and influence repeatedly brandishes disturbing symbols in public, we should consider that they are trying to send us a message. Nonetheless, Musk, like all of us, is capable of changing his ways.

In addition to my apprehension regarding Musk's ascension to a position of national influence and power, I have discovered two separate YouTube channel programs regarding Musk.  Both programs present the testimony of an NDE witness named Margaret Bennett, who allegedly died while being treated in a hospital and met Jesus Christ.  During her supernatural encounter with the Lord, while she was purportedly clinically dead, Jesus Christ warned her that Musk is at a crossroads regarding his faith and beliefs and needs prayers to move him toward the Kingdom of God.

I use the term purported because the voice in both programs seems to be AI-generated. While her alleged testimony aligns in many respects with bona fide NDE witness testimonies, I can find no evidence of her testimony on the web, and she does not appear in either program. So, I consider her testimony to be interesting and possibly true but far from corroborated in any sense.

What caught my attention was that two separate and seemingly unrelated YouTube channels felt compelled to report her NDE testimony.  Another fact that made me consider that her testimony might be true is that her reported conversation with Jesus Christ sounds very similar to that of other NDE witnesses who reported conversations with our Lord that are generally accepted as bona fide.

The preceding is significant since Musk is now a confidante of President-elect Trump and a nominee for co-director of the Office of Government Efficiency.  I do not know if President Trump is aware of Musk's private activities. I also do not know if Musk has turned away from the followers of Satan or if he ever truly belonged to the dark side.  However, after Musk became part of the Trump campaign, President Trump announced the rollout of "Dark Maga."  I was alarmed when I heard the news.

Regardless of his past, Musk's actions may indicate that he is at a crossroads and can decide to take either the path of evil or the path leading to God.  I suspect he is being courted by both the servants of the evil one and those who follow Jesus Christ. A man with Musk's talents and wealth can dramatically affect our nation's path and even the world in the years to come, so I think he is a priority target for the evil one and his followers.  I also believe he needs our prayers.

Call to Action – Time to Pray

Since Elon Musk has unprecedented access to President-elect Trump, his cabinet, and the workings of our government, I urge you and anyone that you know to pray for the following:

Pray for Elon Musk to make wise and Godly choices in his life and government service.  He is a target of the enemy; pray that God protects him.

Pray that Father God convicts Elon Musk's heart and that Musk becomes a faithful follower of Jesus Christ.

Pray that Elon Musk uses his immense technological and business acumen for the betterment of the United States and the world.

Pray that Elon Musk turns away from darkness and the evil one and turns toward the light and the love of Father God

Prayers have an impact; our Heavenly Father hears us, and He will respond if we pray in spirit and truth.

Please take a few moments to say a prayer.

Stay tuned for more news about Evidence for Eternity.  God Bless.

Divine Return - Is it Fact or Fiction?

Why Divine Return’s Message is Important

Over the past few years, a number of people have revealed that they assumed that all of the information discussed by the characters in Divine Return was pure fiction and in no way accurate. Relatedly, when my content editor sent out a draft of Divine Return for comments from beta readers, some asked, "Is the information in the manuscript true?”

The short answer is yes. All of the events and information in the storyline and discussed by the characters are based on true events. The information was developed through research and on-the-ground investigative work. Only the names have been changed to protect the innocent.

Divine Return: Death Is Never The End covers a lot of topics: near-death-experiences, satanic child sacrifice, mind control, Nazi war crimes, ancient giants named in the Bible as Nephilim, the CERN Hadron collider, creation of the new world order, the existence of hell and the divinity of Jesus Christ.

Why cover such a diverse range of strange topics? Answer: I felt led to expose them because they are all biblically related; all are happening without most of us being aware, and like all evil that causes the suffering of the innocent, they need exposure. The Bible tells us:

Ephesians 5:11 ESV

Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness but instead expose them.

John 3:20 ESV

For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.

Now, with the world increasingly spinning out of control with wars, social and political upheaval, and unprecedented attacks on followers of Jesus Christ – witness the Paris Olympics' opening ceremony - now is the time to address some of the themes in the book.

One of the primary reasons for my writing Divine Return was to convince people that hell is real. Near-death-experience and afterlife-experience witnesses do the best job of confirming the horrors of hell that are seldom, if ever, heard in sermons or the media. Many people assume they'll go to heaven when, in fact, some NDE witnesses have postulated that only about 2-3% of the adult human population make it into heaven – a sobering statistic. The sad part is that many more could avoid hell if they just established a relationship with Jesus Christ and maintained that relationship like any child would with a loving parent. Yes, we all sin, but if we do our best to keep our hearts pure and repentant, we will always deflect our new sins back to the cross, where they will stay for all eternity.

Spoiler Alert! In Divine Return, the descriptions of Ben Chernick’s NDEs that took him to hell were based on actual reported experiences. A growing number of witnesses are reporting visits to hell in an after-life experience. Many are everyday people like you and me who are not looking for fame and fortune. An equally growing number of people are reporting visions about hell – YouTube is full of them.

Why would people embarrass themselves by making a short YouTube video and exposing themselves to ridicule for an event that never occurred? Many witnesses do not have ministries or online programs that generate a profit. Most simply report their experiences because they feel compelled to state the truth. As one could imagine, a trip to hell could be a devastating event that could result in temporary or permanent trauma.

Because of the unfathomable ramifications of rejecting Jesus Christ and ending up in hell, I felt compelled to cover the topic in detail in Divine Return to get readers to focus on the issue and think deeply about it.

The topics of satanic ritual abuse and mind control are often interrelated; therefore, I covered both topics. For those who scoff at the thought of either being actual organized practices, I must remind you that a multi-billion dollar criminal drug industry operates in our country without us witnessing the acts of illicit commerce – yet drug trafficking thrives under our very noses. Since satanic ritual abuse, which is often one component of organized mind control, is often practiced by individuals of great wealth and power, its concealment is not difficult for them to carry out.

In the many books written about the topic over the last several decades, one central theme emerges as to why such a horrific practice is conducted. The answer is simple: followers of Satan use the practice to release satanic power that grants them access to wealth and power – albeit temporarily.

Some satanically-related rituals and acts are conducted publically to unsuspecting fans. I detail the infusion of Satan worship into rock music in Final Departure: Death Is Never On Time. More recently, Irish singer Shane Lynch has publically stated that Taylor Swift has been engaging in satanic rituals during her Eras Tour. Lynch is quoted as saying, "I think you're looking at a lot of artists out there; a lot of their stage shows are satanic rituals live in front of 20,000 people without them recognizing. You’ll see a lot of hoods up and masks on and fire ceremonies.”

Victims of satanic ritual abuse also often report being victims of organized mind control operations. The satanic rituals are used to terrify the victims – usually children - to the point of the victim mentally fragmenting into multiple personalities that they unconsciously create to deal with the pain and suffering during highly structured torture. More recent versions of mind control tactics include highly advanced artificial intelligence devices that stimulate the creation of alternate personalities through the use of quantum physics tied to other dimensions. Satanic cult groups use those new personalities or distinct identities in an organized scientific fashion to achieve specific, evil goals through their victims who are enslaved to the cult. Most of us have encountered victims of mind control without being aware. Many victims - using what they term as their front alters - are capable of functioning in society and appearing as normal while they carry with them personalities trained to engage in criminal activity – sometimes even murder.

An online interview of a mind-controlled victim gives a chilling insight into the horrific practice that is all too real. Anneke Lucas is one of a number of victims of satanic ritual abuse and mind control who has come forward and publically described her abuse. She now interviews other survivors who have had induced dissociative identity disorder through structured physical and mental abuse. Her interview with Alandra Markman is one of many exposes that shed some light on the horrific hidden practices that are conducted in the name of Satan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJ1tj...

One of the key facts in the interview is their revelation that victims of satanic cult enslavement are often born into the cult and selected for enslavement because of their specific blood type and bloodline that links them to ancient notables such as King Solomon. Mr. Markman revealed that his blood type is AB negative – a prized trait by Satanists looking for new cult members.

One of the many illuminating portions of their interview is their discussion of children and adolescents who are trapped in satanic cults is the cult’s practice of attempting to recruit victims who reach the age of 13 to become voluntary trainers of younger victims using the same methods of torture that they had endured. Markman revealed that the cult focused on attempting to recruit him from the age of 13 through 16. The cult used the promises of wealth, fame, and riches as inducements to join them voluntarily. When he refused, they tortured him with electric shocks. Those victims who decide to transition to victimizers must commit to 5 I wills. We see in Isaiah 14:13-14 that Satan pronounced five I wills:

You said in your heart,

    ‘I will ascend to heaven;

above the stars of God

    I will set my throne on high;

I will sit on the mount of assembly

    in the far reaches of the north;

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;

I will make myself like the Most High.

While I believe we must be exposed to and recognize evil activity in our country and worldwide, we should neither become obsessed with uncovering the activity nor be paralyzed by fear. We should develop a healthy but balanced awareness of evil activities to address them - if and when we are afforded an appropriate opportunity to take action or report the activity to the cognizant authorities.

God did not give us a spirit of fear, but he did give us a sound mind to use to remain vigilant and engaged in our communities. I wrote Divine Return to heighten the readers' knowledge of hidden evil activities currently taking place, but more importantly, I wrote the book to remind all of us that Jesus Christ gave up his life for us while he was in the flesh on earth, and we should never forget that he stands ready to protect us when we humble ourselves and rely on his sovereign power and love.

Since we are facing unprecedented attacks, now is the time to pray to Father God and ask for His protection and guidance. The more people who pray, the greater the potential response.

Accordingly, I strongly urge you to share the prayer below with your family, friends, and fellow believers. You can modify or add to the prayer, which is meant to be a starting point.

Now is the time for action!

Heavenly Father, we ask you to heal our land and protect us from the evil one and his minions. We pray that you expose and bind the evil elites of the world who serve Satan and strive to create an unholy new world order.

We pray that you destroy the plans and works of the cabal of globalists who hate You, hate mankind, and want to destroy us, our way of life, and our ability to worship and serve You in peace and freedom.

Please give us the eyes to see and the ears to hear.

In Jesus' name, we pray.

In future posts, I will cover more of the topics presented in Divine Return.

Stay strong in your faith and close to Jesus Christ!

April 1, 2024

Should You Be Concerned about the Coming April 8, 2024, Total Solar Eclipse?

The total solar eclipse that will take place on April 8, 2024, is attracting a lot of attention. Is the concern of some that the eclipse will be a sign of the end times approaching justified, or is all of the eclipse talk just a lot of blather and bluster for entertainment purposes? Why should we care about a couple of hours of darkness falling on a tiny sliver of the United States?

If you're a follower of Jesus Christ and study the scriptures that describe the end times, such as the book of Revelation or the book of Daniel, you're probably paying careful attention to the events unfolding around the world. You suspect something is up.

If you're not a believer, you should be aware that the Bible describes how the world as we know it will come to a chaotic end – physically and supernaturally – and be replaced by a new earth that will be home to a new heaven with Jesus Christ reigning as King.

Sound farfetched? Recall recent events such as the lockdown of most of the world during the COVID scare and the ongoing raging conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, and you might develop an appreciation for the prophet accuracy of the Bible. The Bible documents that the end times will be preceded by an increase in plagues, wars, rumors of wars, and other natural disasters such as earthquakes.

With the foregoing in mind, the coming April 8 total solar eclipse could signal the approach of the end times, in the opinion of many. I can think of no other impending event that has garnered so much attention from Christian scholars and teachers, as well as secular influencers.

The coming total solar eclipse is noteworthy for believers for various reasons. To appreciate the significance of the April 8 event, however, we first need to examine the previous total solar eclipse of August 4, 2017.

What was so unusual about the 2017 Great American Solar Eclipse, and why was it called the "Great American Eclipse?" Pundits created the name because it was the first total solar eclipse to touch the United States since a total solar eclipse occurred in 1776. The eclipse that took place during the year of our nation's birth lasted precisely one hour and thirty-three minutes.

Is the number 1:33 of interest? Interestingly, Psalm 133 is a call to unity: Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!

Some would say that God was using the sign of an eclipse at the birth of our nation to urge us to unify as a God-fearing and God-worshipping nation.

The Great American Eclipse of 2017 cast a shadow of darkness over 350 cities. One of the first major cities it passed over was Salem, Oregon. From there, during its southeasterly trek, the eclipse also passed over Salem, Idaho; Salem, Wyoming; Salem, Nebraska; Salem, Missouri; Salem, Kentucky; and Salem, South Carolina.

The solar eclipses exit point in South Carolina was over Fort Sumter, where the American Civil War began.

Was it just a coincidence that it passed over seven cities – all with the same name – Salem? Does the name Salem have any significance?

Salem is the word for peace, and the Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 proclaims Jesus Christ's title clearly: For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Some might suggest that the total solar eclipse in 2017 was a warning from God to turn to Jesus Christ and make him Lord of one's life.

Does God use natural events such as an eclipse to send us messages and warnings?

In Genesis 1:14, we read, And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years,

In Psalm 19:1-3 we read, The heavens declare the glory of God,

and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day-to-day pours out speech, and night-to-night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard.

Through the passages above, God gives us permission to look to the heavens for signs, information, and knowledge. He's telling us that He communicates with us via the stars as well as other methods.

In Luke 21:25 & 28, Jesus Christ is recorded as saying: "And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves,.. Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."

The sun went dark for three hours when Jesus Christ was on the cross in Golgotha. The darkness wasn't the result of an eclipse; God performed a miracle. God made a statement using the sun. Jewish scholars at the time recognized the darkness as the sign of Jonah the prophet – the meaning of which is detailed below.

As a side note, civilizations throughout history, including Native Americans, the Chinese, Hindus, and ancient Jewish cultures, all saw solar eclipses as evil and apocalyptic.

With that said, why is the April 8 solar eclipse significant? First, solar eclipses are directional and finite - similar to the beam of a flashlight. The discrete area of total darkness is called the umbra shadow. The full eclipse will be seen in a relatively narrow path – approximately 115 - 130 miles wide – through parts of Mexico, 15 U.S. states, and Canada, although it will be partially observable in areas adjacent to the eclipse's path, which will be for the entire Americas. Most will observe a sudden drop in sunlight, while the umbra shadow will bring complete darkness in the areas it touches.

As described by the Prophecy Watchers, Alexis Katz, author of The Great American Writing on the Wall, tells us, "While eclipses are not that uncommon, total solar eclipses often occur over the ocean rather than on land. Don't let anyone fool you into thinking the 2017 eclipse was nothing out of the ordinary. While people were watching, day was turned to night all across the United States… and having another total solar eclipse cross the entire United States again in 2024, just seven years later, is unprecedented.

Lunar eclipses (blood moons) are of prophetic significance for Israel, whereas solar eclipses are of prophetic significance for Gentiles. It's well known that the United States has been the wealthiest, most powerful, and most influential Gentile nation. It is also a giant ethnic melting pot and hosts a proto-world government in the form of the United Nations.

Two total solar eclipses spaced seven years apart, crossing the entirety of the United States that form an X over the largest and main Gentile nation on earth should not be ignored...

No one can manipulate an eclipse or its narrow path of totality. Nobody can change the orbital mechanics of the planets, only God."

A footnote to Alexis Katz's commentary that is important to point out is that the United States is also the largest Christian nation in the world. We should also note that the number 7 is the number of completion.

As the eclipse begins to darken American soil on April 8, it will first pass over Eagle Pass, Texas, the first American settlement on the Rio Grande and currently a hotspot for Texas' attempted enforcement of state immigration laws.

Is Eagle Pass significant from a Biblical perspective? In Matthew 24:28, when Jesus described what would be the signs of the end of the days, He stated: For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. (KJV)  (Note: In a number of translations, the word vultures is used instead of eagles.)

Shelby Park, located in Eagle Pass, is so named because in June 1865, the Shelby Expedition, the last force of Confederate soldiers who refused to surrender to Union troops after the Civil War, retreated across Texas and made their way into Mexico. While crossing the Rio Grande near Fort Duncan, General Joseph Orville Shelby, and his men ceremoniously buried a Confederate flag in the river.

Accordingly, the 2017 eclipse ended where the Civil War began – Fort Sumter, South Carolina, and the 2024 eclipse will start where the last act of the Civil War took place. As the Bible says in Matthew 20:16, So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

After passing over Eagle Pass, the eclipse will move northeasterly and pass over Jonah, Texas; Nineveh, Texas; Rapture, Indiana; Nineveh, Indiana; Nineveh, Ohio; Nineveh, Pennsylvania; Nineveh, NY; and Nineveh, Nova Scotia.

Some observers claim the eclipse will directly pass over only two Nineveh's, but other researchers disagree. Some say the umbra shadow will pass over eleven towns named Nineveh. I'll go with the majority that says the Umbra shadow will be close enough to enough towns named Nineveh to be noteworthy. I recommend you do your own research if you have doubts or questions.

Is the name Nineveh significant in any way?

Yes, in the book of Jonah, we read that God commands Jonah to travel to the city of Nineveh, where a cruel Assyrian King named Jeroboam II ruled at the time. God ordered Jonah to tell him and his subjects to repent of their evil ways within 40 days or face God's judgment. Of note, one of the Assyrian's accomplishments was the construction of a palace that glorified and memorialized the Assyrian army's slaughter of thousands of Jews. The city was considered to be one of the most evil in existence at the time.

As most know, Jonah initially refused to obey God, which led him to be swallowed by a whale after being thrown overboard from a ship at sea during a violent storm. The large mammal ultimately spit Jonah out, and, learning his lesson, Jonah proceeded to Nineveh and delivered God's message. Jonah's fear of visiting Nineveh was not without basis; Assyria was an arch-enemy of Israel at the time, and the city had begun to worship Ishtar, the goddess of immorality, sexual sin, prostitution, and adultery, around the year 2000 BC. For more information on Ishtar and her connection to the present conditions in the world, I suggest you check out my blog post, dated 1/23/24, entitled Idols of our Times.

Since a single angel dispatched by God had massacred 185,000 soldiers of the Assyrian army some years early outside of Jerusalem, the King took God's warning seriously and repented along with his people.

According to historians, Noah's journey took place in 763 BC. Was there anything else significant that happened in 763 BC? On June 15 of that year, according to NASA, a solar eclipse, known as the Assyrian solar eclipse, took place—the day that some Christian researchers identify as when Noah walked into the Assyrian palace and delivered God's warning.

Do we see parallels in today's world? What is the state of America today from God's perspective? Are we a God-fearing nation that rejects sin, or have we become a mecca for decadence and moral decay? I believe we are in the latter category - we have become the child trafficking and child pornography capital of the world.

How about April 8 or 4/8? Is there any significance from a Biblical perspective? Exodus 4:8 says, "If they will not believe you," God said, "or listen to the first sign, they may believe the latter sign."

Hmmm! Might we apply God's word to current events?

Another fact that should be noted is that the point where the 2017 and 2024 eclipses cross and form an X is called Little Egypt. Recall that God used ten signs or deadly events to warn Pharaoh that Moses spoke for Him, and His message was to release his people from slavery.

A closer look at the crossover point of the two solar eclipses reveals a town called Makanda, Illinois. In the same area is Giant City State Park. Within the park is a unique rock structure called the Devil's Stand Table. Strange? You bet when considered with all of the other odd coincidences. At a minimum, the area's double exposure to a total solar eclipse within seven years should get our attention.

Where does the 2024 Eclipse exit the continental United States? On its way out to sea, it touches the towns of Magog, Vermont; Moscow, Maine; Orient, Maine; and Burnt Church, New Brunswick.

As some observers say, the preceding is undeniable data. How you interpret it is up to you.

Will other unusual events take place on April 8? Yes, NASA has announced that it will fire three scientific-sounding rockets into the moon's shadow on Monday, April 8, during the solar eclipse across North America.

What's so special about a few rocket launches?

According to a March 26, 2024, Forbes Magazine article, NASA named its rocket launches after the "serpent deity from ancient Egyptian mythology, nemesis of the sun deity Ra." The mission's name will be APEP, which is the name of an ancient Egyptian deity of unbridled anarchy, sheer evil, darkness, and destruction. In the ancient texts, APEP swallows the sun god.

Also on April 8, the CERN Large Hadron Collider will be fired up to perform atom smashing experiments in search of dark matter – also known as the "God Particle." For those interested in CERN and its potential Biblical connections, you can find more details about CERN in my information novel Divine Return: Death Is Never The End. Suffice it to say that previous CERN officials have publically stated that one of the goals of CERN is to open portals to other dimensions. Why choose April 8 – the day of the total solar eclipse – for such an experiment? Only God knows (outside of the CERN administrators), but we may find out the unpleasant truth in the not-too-distant future.

If the preceding events are not enough to pique your interest, consider that shortly after the April 8 solar eclipse, for the first time in 221 years, two gigantic broods of periodical cicadas are set to emerge from the ground simultaneously in the U.S. to engage in a raucous mating frenzy.

The rare double cicada brood will include two of the largest cicada broods, which will co-emerge in the billions after having lived underground for 17 and 13 years, respectively. Brood XIII is expected to emerge in the Midwest, mostly around north-central Illinois, Ohio, and Iowa. Brood XIX will cover parts of Illinois, as well as a wider geographic area in the southeastern U.S., including Louisiana, Virginia and North Carolina.

In addition to the above, other ominous events will occur on April 8, such as the appearance of the Devil's Comet and the anniversary of Aleister Crowley's supernatural encounter in 1904 with a disembodied voice that claimed to be a messenger of the Egyptian Sun God, Horus, who directed him to write down specific verbiage that became "The Book of the Law." Crowley was one of the most satanic occult leaders of all time.

Last but not least is the alignment of five of the eight planets of our solar system on April 8. Earth will line up with Venus, Neptune, Saturn and Mars. I cannot tell you the prophetic significance of the alignment, but I can tell you the alignment is rare.

So, what are we to make of all the coincidences surrounding the total solar eclipses in 2017 and 2024?

First, I don't believe we should make definitive declarations about God's intent. We have the scriptures – God's Word - as our road map, but beyond that, we don't know what God's intent is with respect to the eclipses.

We can confidently say that our nation has adopted laws and cultural practices over the past several decades that have most assuredly grieved Father God. God is not only loving but also holy and just. Therefore, His perfect character demands that He judge sin, and our nation is a nonstop sin factory.

To add insult to injury, President Biden just declared Easter Sunday to be "Transgender Visibility Day." Our nation's ostensible leader has now labeled the day we celebrate our Lord's resurrection as a day to celebrate a form of spiritual rebellion.

From abortion to child trafficking to outright Satan worship in our entertainment industry and our total exclusion of God from the public square, our collective actions as a nation must both sadden and anger our Heavenly Father.

The operative word to describe what we need to do as individuals and as a nation is repent.

We know from the Bible that God has a history of sending warnings to His people before taking action. Are those warnings about to end? Since we certainly deserve judgment, I recommend we pray for the following immediately:

·       Pray to Father God that he forgives our nation for turning our back on Him and becoming disobedient. Pray that He convicts the hearts or our nation's elected leaders and our citizens who have turned their back on Him.

·       Pray to Father God to have mercy on us for our past sins and allow us to turn from our wicked ways.

I also suggest that anyone reading this article who has not established a personal relationship with Jesus Christ do so now. Say a simple prayer of repentance for your sins and declare your true belief in the saving, redemptive power of Jesus Christ. Confirm your true acceptance of His sacrificial death for our sins.

Lastly, trust in the Lord for protection. Those who know the Lord personally will be protected from the harm that will surely befall our nation in the future. Pray that those who haven't made Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior do so before it's too late.

Idols of Our Times

In my third installment of words and phrases that confuse and mislead Christians and add to an atheist’s arsenal of arguments against a belief in God, I mentioned one significant source of sin that can lead followers of Jesus Christ down a path of destruction.

I believe the type of sin I referenced is so pervasive in our culture and so destructive – particularly for our youth – that I feel compelled to expound on the topic.

Before I discuss the idol in question, I must point out that I write not as a preacher speaking from a lofty ivory tower of moral superiority or piousness. I write as a fallen sinner who struggles with the same temptations and sinful nature that we all have in common.

With that said, we should remember that most Westerners – including myself - live a life of comfort and excess in our daily lives.  According to a U.S. Federal Reserve consumer finance survey in 2022, the net worth of an average American household, adjusted for inflation, is $1.06 million. While Americans enjoy a very high standard of living compared to much of the world, over 50% of the world’s population lacks indoor plumbing.

Relatedly, even many low-income American families have cell phones, internet access, and wide-screen TVs – luxuries unheard of in many developing countries.

What does prosperity have to do with sin and salvation? A lot, in my humble opinion.

God made clear in the Ten Commandments that we should have no other gods before Him and make no idols that we would bow down to or serve. Unfortunately, our ancient forefathers did both.  Even the Israelites, who were God's chosen people and whom Joshua led into the promised land, regressed into the worship of many false gods, including Baal and Ishtar.

For an in-depth discussion of the evil powers from the past who have now returned to a backslidden and increasingly sinful world, I highly recommend Jonathan Cahn’s landmark book, The Return of the Gods.

2 Judges 10:6

Then the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the LORD and served the Baals and the Ashthoreths.

Baal is an evil ancient god known as the possessor who leads people away from the one true God and toward the worship of money, power, and pleasure, and the Ashthoreths is the plural for a group of evil spirits who serve their master, Ishtar, who is the queen of immorality, sexual sin, prostitution, adultery, and pornography. The two are linked; many view them as lovers or married in a carnal sense.

We do not know the origin of either god. Still, we can assume Father God created them as righteous supernatural beings and that they fell with Satan and became major powers in the second heaven.

Why are Baal and Ishtar important?  Because many Christian researchers agree that when America began to push God out of our public schools, our government institutions, and the public square in the 1960s, Baal and Ishtar rushed in to fill the vacant house, and with them, they brought rebellion and sexual sin.

The Book of Luke provides a clear warning of what happens when someone or some country accepts Jesus Christ and then turns away:

Return of an Unclean Spirit

24 “When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and finding none it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ 25 And when it comes, it finds the house swept and put in order. 26 Then it goes and brings seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there. And the last state of that person is worse than the first.”

As Jonathan Cahn points out, two of the critical events that pushed out God and ushered in Baal and Ishtar back into American society were the removal of prayer and Bible reading from our public schools. I witnessed the falling away firsthand, as I was in middle school, when the changes took effect.

The U.S. Supreme Court declared prayer in public schools unconstitutional on June 25, 1962, in Engel v. Vitale. The following year, in the Abington School District v. Schempp, the Court disallowed Bible readings in public schools for the same reasons.

At the same time, our nation began to move away from God, we entered a time of post-WWII prosperity. America became the world's only superpower; its economy came to life – raising the standard of living for most.

With our wealth and the culture of comfort that came with it, we began to develop technology that magnified our potential to obtain earthly pleasures – many of which contained the seeds of destruction.

One of the areas in our culture that imploded was in the area of sexual morality.  The 1960s also heralded the start of the sexual revolution that brought down our sexual mores as a country. Many seasoned observers identify 1967 as the year it all began.  My generation, the Baby Boomers, was severely impacted by the sexual revolution in a very negative way. In a sense, the moral guardrails of our culture fell off.

As our slide has continued unabated for decades, we now find ourselves with the potential to descend down a path of unintentional idol worship and, ultimately, sin and eternal death, even if we have professed our faith and belief in Christ.

How so?

Our lives of relative comfort give us sufficient spare time to pursue an almost limitless supply of entertainment and leisure activities.  Today’s smartphones and other electronic devices offer us a portal to a previously unimagined digital world of entertainment, information, and a great sin.  Pleasure or perversion is just a few clicks away.

The digital outlets we choose for entertainment can quickly become idols. Sports figures and teams, Hollywood stars, famous musicians, and any number of media personalities can gain our attention to the point that we spend more time thinking about them than we do Jesus Christ.  I’m guilty of that sin, and I struggle daily with the urge to spend hours looking at the things I like rather than focusing on the One whom I truly love and need – Jesus Christ.

The threat from digital devices is particularly serious for our youth, who don't have a clear set of moral values.  Many spend hours scrolling through social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Tick Tock. Unfortunately, a child’s unsupervised access to the internet will most likely have disastrous results.  I believe many of our youth – and some not so young – have fallen prey to the digital sirens who beckon the bored and the lonely.

A recent opinion piece by the Epoch Times editorial staff, entitled Popular Culture – A Decadent Indulgence, summed up the magnitude of the problem succinctly:

"The introduction of the internet and smartphones has brought major changes to the porn industry. The total amount of pornographic content that a typical adult in the 1980s might have been exposed to over the course of years can now be accessed by a child in mere minutes.  On average, children are now exposed to pornography by the age of 8. One 12-year-old British boy became so addicted to online pornography that he raped his sister."

Of all of the temptations that our youth face in our rapidly declining culture, online pornography is probably greatest threat. Parents must be vigilant when monitoring the digital content their children consume. While access to pornography was very limited in my youth, now a child can view pornography in the privacy of his or her room, at no cost, and on demand.  I can’t think of a more destructive and toxic vice than the addictive sin of viewing pornography.

Many of us know that while scrolling for completely innocent content, we sometimes see sexually suggestive images intermingled in our AI-controlled feed that stimulate a normal human response.  If we're not alert and fail to control our dopamine cravings or hormonal responses and allow them to overpower us, we can click on a lust-stimulating image and get pulled into a moral cesspool that can lead to a porn addiction and ultimately eternal death.

In addition to our innate physical responses, we get added "help" from the likes of Ishtar and her subservient army of demonic entities who pump urges and appetites into our spirit and soul. The perfect storm of lustful appetites is created.

Some may think, what can be so wrong about admiring a shapely but scantily clad female or male body? We’re in the 21st century and long past the age when puritanical values shackled our ancestors with feelings of guilt.

We need to look no further than the Bible, where Jesus tells us that lusting after a woman or a man in a person's heart is considered adultery.  We are all guilty, but we can and must confess our sins and move on.  However, if we rationalize in our mind that a few glances at a shapely person are harmless, we are setting ourselves up for a disaster.

A contributing factor in our culture today is the almost complete collapse of our moral boundaries.  In decades past, sexual relations between two people were to be within the confines of marriage. Sex – a gift from God - is supposed to be an act of loving intimacy that leads to procreation, not just an activity for physical pleasure alone.  Now, we live in a hook-up, shack-up, and breakup culture that has all but destroyed God’s institution of marriage and family life.

Our entertainment is a major contributing element.  Sexual images permeate movies, television, and online content. We gradually become desensitized to sexually promiscuous content to the point that it provokes no sense of moral conviction.  If we allow ourselves to continue to view sexually suggestive or explicit content, we run the risk of acting on our urges and sinning.

If we don’t resist the worship-like attention to fellow humans and material objects that digital platforms facilitate, we will pursue our love of things instead of our love of our Creator and our Savior.  Cars or similar high-value possessions can also absorb our attention and our covetousness.  One needs to look no further than the ubiquitous car auctions on cable TV.  One can spend hours watching wealthy fellow Americans spend thousands of dollars on a refurbished muscle car or rare exotic auto.

Resisting all of the idol worship opportunities is increasingly difficult in our secular culture.  Still, we must hold tight to the reality that this life is temporary, and our eternal life after physical death will be filled with either constant ecstasy or unimaginable suffering.

We have to choose who or what we worship – the Son of God or the temporary offerings of this world.  I hope you choose wisely – I struggle to do so daily.

Christianese: Christian Phrases and Words That Cause Confusion - Part Three

In my final installment, we conclude our attempt to answer the following questions: Are some of the sermons and teachings that you hear sound oddly detached from reality? Do otherwise good sermons leave you spiritually empty? Are we using words and phrases that confuse and mislead Christians and add to an atheist’s arsenal of arguments against a belief in God?

If the answer is yes, you may be suffering from an overdose of Christianese. To address what I consider a weakness in the Christian church writ large, I'm continuing to address the common words and phrases that many Christian pastors, teachers, and believers use that confuse, dissuade, and turn away seekers and non-believers from the Christian faith.

In the following exposition, I address the last two of six phrases that I suggest you avoid using in conversation with others when discussing the Bible and its truth.

I believe many would agree that we live in a post-Christian society. We’ve banned prayer and Bible reading in our public schools, in most local government proceedings, and at many public events. As followers of Jesus Christ, we’ve been marginalized and canceled on many social media platforms. We must measure our words carefully when we attempt to express our Christian faith.

With the preceding stated, here are the last two on the hit parade:

God Is All Loving.

In my humble opinion, a common misdescription of Father God is the common phrase - “God is all loving.”

I don’t know the origin of the phrase, God is all loving, but I believe it's a misleading verbal bromide that ignores the true nature of God. Yes, God's essence is love, but He's also holy and just. No verse in the Bible declares that God's love for His creation overrides His just and holy nature. His holy nature confirms that He cannot and will not co-exist with sinful beings, whether they are created angels or mankind.

Why is the distinction important? When a discussion about hell takes place, those who reject the literal existence of hell invariably state that God would never allow anyone to suffer for eternity because God is “all loving.”

The Bible tells us something different.

2 Corinthians 5:10

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

In addition to God’s unwillingness to tolerate sin, His divine nature of justice also demands that sins be punished. God cannot abide sin, and if you have not repented of your sins, sought Jesus Christ’s forgiveness, and dedicated your life to Christ, God will not intervene when you physically die, face judgment, and fall into hell.

The Bible is replete with verses about God judging man. The following verses are just a small sampling of declarations confirming God’s promise to judge man:

Psalm 75:7

But God is the Judge;

He puts down one and exalts another.

Isaiah 66:16

For the Lord will execute judgment by fire

And by His sword on all flesh,

And those slain by the Lord will be many.

Psalm 9:8

And He will judge the world in righteousness;

He will execute judgment for the peoples with equity.

1 Peter 4:5

But they will give account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.

Revelation 20:12

And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds.

God’s love for us is so great that he sacrificed His only son, Jesus Christ, to take away our sins and convey to us His righteousness. I can't think of a more loving act – an act that was necessary for us to receive forgiveness for our many sins that would otherwise leave us vulnerable to God’s judgment.

Once Saved, Always Saved

Those of you who have read my books know that I’m a proponent of vetting, studying, and learning from select near-death-experience (NDE) witness testimonies that contain information that illuminates and confirms the written word of God.

If you’ve not had a chance to read Final Departure or Divine Return, I recommend the recently released movie After Death, which was produced by Angel Studios. I believe most film viewers will gain an appreciation of the power and authenticity of NDEs.

With the foregoing stated, some Christians dismiss NDEs as not reliable and anti-Biblical, but I prefer to judge each experience individually. One recurring theme that I’ve gleaned from reliable and forthright NDE witnesses is that they state that the oft-repeated phrase "once saved, always saved" is false.

Why do they say that? Many NDE witnesses report witnessing trapped souls in hell who had been followers of Christ but ended up being rejected because they were still sinning and unrepentant at the time of their death.

How can that be? Didn't Christ say no one can snatch us from His loving arms? Yes, that is true if we cling to Jesus and rely on His righteousness and saving grace. However, if we accept Christ into our lives and begin to follow him but refuse to relinquish one or more areas of darkness or sin, we disqualify ourselves from salvation.

Salvation is a continuing condition based on our continuing faith.

I recently heard a pastor describe what I think applies: you can't lose your salvation, but you can leave it.

What are some examples of believers in hell? One witness reported encountering a woman who loved the Lord but became enraged when she found her husband cheating on her, and she never forgave him. Another murdered her cheating husband but felt justified in taking his life.

Another NDE witness observed a pastor who had been secretly stealing money from the collection plate and using it for personal expenses; he never repented before he died.

A common sin that many struggle with is having idols while still attempting to follow Christ. One of the most destructive categories of idols is the actresses and actors in pornographic films. In today's secular culture, viewing porn is deemed harmless when in fact, the viewers of porn are worshiping the demons behind the pornography. Also, as Jesus warned us in Matthew 5:28, looking at someone, not your spouse, and lusting after them is the sin of adultery. When one fails to reject porn and repent, the result is eternal death.

Some will say that the souls that NDE witnesses saw in hell were never really saved in the first place. True, many never develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Also, while I can't confirm the status of the poor souls in hell, I can confidently state that NDE witnesses who enter the supernatural realm have a form of extra-sensory perception that allows them to know a person instantly when they encounter them. Another factor I considered before writing this piece is the number of NDE witnesses who aren't connected, all making the same observation.

What does “saved” really mean?

One way of looking at salvation is that it’s a personal decision that starts a process culminating in a final event. Some pastors describe the process as justification, sanctification, and glorification.

Technically, we are not saved until the instant our spiritual body materializes in Heaven. Before that event, you and I were on the road to salvation if we had accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and our acceptance of Him transformed us and how we lived our lives. Simply affirming the divinity of Jesus Christ and acknowledging that the Gospel is true will not save us. We must act on our decision, turn away from our old sinful ways, and have an ongoing relationship with Jesus Christ through frequent prayer.

If I’m really saved, can I fall away or walk away from God?

Some say that if you’re saved, you can’t fall away because of the keeping power of God’s grace.

Accepting and following Jesus Christ is an act of our will – we choose to obey or not obey. We don’t lose our free will when we surrender to Christ. We still have the unilateral authority and ability to make choices in our lives – good and evil.

One truth that seems to be forgotten in the discussion of "once saved, always saved" is the undeniable mutiny of Satan and one-third of the angels in Heaven. Satan made a choice – fueled by sinful pride – to challenge God and persuade an untold number of angels to follow him.

If one of God’s most cherished creations – one who literally hovered in God’s presence in Heaven - could revolt and turn away from God, then why do we think that we mere mortals can't make the same horrendous decision? Why can't we change our minds after sensing the Holy Spirit? Satan was directly in God's loving presence, yet he chose to betray God. Why do we think we're stronger than Satan and immune to making horrific choices after becoming a follower of Christ?

We can make eternity-altering decisions while on the road to salvation; that's why God's word warns us to endure until physical death. Scripture is replete with warnings about veering off the narrow road that leads to eternal life:

Matthew 10:22

And you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

Hebrews 3:14

For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.

Hebrews 10:38

But my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.”

James 5:19-20

My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, 20 let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.

2 Peter 2:20-22

For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first. 21 For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them. 22 What the true proverb says has happened to them: “The dog returns to its own vomit, and the sow, after washing herself, returns to wallow in the mire.”

Many will say that we have the Holy Spirit in us after we surrender to Jesus; therefore, we can't lose our salvation. As the scripture states above, I believe we will continue to have temptations and opportunities to sin even when we have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. How we respond to those temptations will determine whether we stay on the road to salvation.

The Holy Spirit will convict our hearts and make sinning feel abhorrent, but He will not stop us from sinning. We decide whether we stay on the straight and narrow by avoiding sin and confessing sin when we fall short or whether we place our pleasure and desires above the Lord in a select area and suffer the eternal consequences.

If we cease to have faith, we will cease to be on the road to salvation, but we can return to the Lord. It’s our choice.

I realize some of you will disagree with me. My purpose is not to spread fear and anxiety. My goal is to shine a spotlight on a misleading phrase that could cause new believers to think they can backslide into old sinful habits and not be held accountable on their judgment day.

I recommend praying and asking the Holy Spirit to confirm or refute what I have written. Ultimately, your personal relationship with our Savior will determine your address in eternity.

Christianese: Christian Phrases and Words That Cause Confusion Part Two

The following is the second installment in a three-part series that examines common words and phrases used by many Christian pastors, teachers, and believers that confuse, dissuade, and turn away seekers and non-believers from the Christian faith.

Do you attend church or watch online services and become turned off by the message? Are some of the sermons that you hear sound oddly detached from reality? Do otherwise good sermons leave you spiritually empty?

If the answer is yes, you may be suffering from an overdose of Christianese.

Today, we’ll address two additional phrases that I suggest you avoid using in conversation with others when discussing the Bible and its truth. Neither would be considered “salvation issues;” however, they do lead to confusion.

3. Satan is defeated. Yes, but not completely – yet.

In conversations with individuals about spiritual warfare, people sometimes tell me I shouldn’t care about Satan and his demons because they’re defeated.

While it’s true that Jesus Christ sealed Satan’s fate through Christ’s death on the cross and His voluntary substitutionary atonement for our sins, Satan is still free to roam the earth like a roaring lion and lead people to hell through his sin-inducing power. He is still the prince of the air and the father of all lies. Judging from the state of the world, Satan and his minions have been quite successful.

The Bible reminds us of Satan's continued temporary rein over the earth:

1 John 5:19 NKJV

We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one

When a criminal has been charged with a crime and is released on bail, they can still commit more crimes – and some often do. Satan is no different. His sentence has been passed, but he still has the power to lure any one of us to a penalty of eternal death – if we allow him by rejecting Jesus Christ.

We live on a spiritual battlefield and should never let our guard down until Jesus Christ returns and God renders Satan’s final punishment. When we discount the power of Satan and his minions, we risk opening up ourselves to attack. Satan wants to lead you to eternal death, and ignoring him makes you an easy target. We must protect ourselves until the Lord calls us home.

4. God is in control. Probably the most repeated phrase that can play into the hands of an agile atheist is “God is in control.”  Yes, God is sovereign, and yes, He rules the universe. He sustains the earth, the stars, the sun, and the moon, but He doesn’t control everything directly. He doesn’t make everything happen, but He does allow events to take place if they further His plan for us.

Even earthly kings, queens, and monarchs do not control many day-to-day activities of their subjects.

Yes, God can reach into our earthly domain and do anything He wants, and I’m sure He does so in a supernatural way that does not pre-empt man’s free will.

Yet, when God placed Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, He gave them dominion over their habitat. He instructed them to maintain the garden, name the animals that God created, and care for themselves in the paradise He made for them.

God did not hand-feed Adam and Eve and didn’t do their chores for them, even though he maintained sovereign ownership and control over the garden.

In today's world, a landlord continues to own a rental property while allowing the tenants to live in the dwelling and arrange their belongings freely however they please.

When a Christian states, "God is in control" without reflecting on the consequences, they set themselves up for the inevitable charge from a non-believer that God is responsible for all the evil in the world. God does not force a murderer to shoot or stab a victim. God does not direct a drunk to get into a car and crash into innocent victims and cause death.

We still maintain free will and remain responsible for our actions. If God does not control our actions on a moment-by-moment basis, then he is not "in control" in the true literal sense. He is the King of His kingdom, and we, as adopted members of His family, live freely while trying to obey His commands. In the end, if we do as we please and fail to follow God’s commands – we suffer the consequences – hence, the evil in the world is essentially our own making.

In closing, neither of the above phrases are salvation issues, but they can detract from our ability to share our faith with others who are skeptical or downright hostile to the truth of Jesus Christ. The Bible says that clear and earnest language filled with grace is essential to effectively communicating the facts about Jesus Christ and His saving grace.

Colossians 4:6 NKJV

Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

In the final installment, we will tackle two contentious phrases: God Is All Loving and the most commonly used phrase of all – Once Saved, Always Saved. Stay tuned, and God Bless.

Christianese: Do Some Christian Phrases and Words Confuse You? ? Part One

Do you attend church or watch online worship services and become disinterested while listening to the sermon? Are some of the Christian teachings that you hear sound oddly detached from reality? Do otherwise good sermons leave you spiritually empty?

If the answer is yes, you may be suffering from an overdose of Christianese. Throughout my struggles to maintain a faithful relationship with Jesus Christ over the course of my adult life, I’ve left some church services feeling spiritually undernourished. One of the reasons has been listening to the worn-out and simplistic phrases and words that some Christian preachers overuse.

To address what I consider a weakness in the Christian church writ large, I'm beginning a three-part series on common words and phrases that many Christian pastors, teachers, and believers use that unintentionally confuse, dissuade, and turn away seekers and nonbelievers from the Christian faith.

According to a 2022 cross-sectional social survey conducted by the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago, only about half of adults in the U.S. believe in God without a doubt or attend religious services frequently.

Therefore, I believe many would agree that we’re entering a post-Christian phase of our society. Our government has banned prayer and scripture reading in our public schools, in most local government proceedings, and at most public events. Many in our society label the Bible as fiction or a well-meaning fairy tale.

Followers of Jesus Christ have been marginalized and canceled on many social media platforms. Accordingly, Christians have learned to measure their words carefully when discussing their Christian faith. More importantly, some Christians have learned that they must consider how a nonbeliever could construe and even misuse their words.

Despite the foregoing acknowledgment, I believe many followers of Jesus Christ intensify the opposition of nonbelievers by what they say. They play into the hands of doubters, agitators, and hardcore atheists by repeating phrases and words that nonbelievers use as evidence to claim that Christianity is merely a cult that relies on musty old myths and child-like vocabulary for authentication.

I believe Christians must be aware of the literal meaning of their words when they use them in conversation, and they should have a clear understanding of the Biblical truths documented in the scriptures that supports their verbal expressions.

Below are the first two of six phrases and words that I suggest all should avoid using in conversation with others when discussing the Bible and its truth.

1. Bible Stories. In my old line of work – criminal investigator – a story was usually the invention of a criminal trying to create a false alibi to avoid prosecution or an informant or asset who was lying about his or her access to sensitive information for some ulterior motive. Criminal courts never knowingly allow defendants to tell stories while under oath on the witness stand. Moreover, I would've been fired if I had written fiction, aka stories, in my reports.

In generations past, when Bible reading was permitted in public schools, and most Americans attended some church service weekly, people automatically understood that a Bible story was simply a passage in the Bible that everyone generally accepted as accurate and true.

In today’s culture, however, the word “story” brings to mind a work of fiction or an imaginary tale concocted to serve a purpose. The word connotes the term "fabricated.” Yet many well-meaning pastors and Christian teachers consistently use the term "Bible stories” when referring to specific portions of scripture.

I continue to be disturbed by some of the well-known Bible apologists I follow who use the word 'story' repeatedly during their otherwise outstanding podcasts and YouTube videos – programs designed to confirm the integrity of God's written word.

The scriptures are truthful Biblical accounts of creation, the fall of mankind, and our redemption through the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The scriptures also contain prophetic passages – many of which have come true, and some have yet to be fulfilled.

The Bible describes how the disciples categorized the knowledge they obtained as first-hand eyewitnesses:

Acts 4:20 For we cannot but speak the things we have seen and heard

I suggest we start honoring the God-breathed words of the Holy Bible and treat it as the absolute truth that it is. The term Biblical account or just plain passage of scripture is more accurate and far less misleading. I suggest we be mindful that the Bible is a factual book of truth, and the language we use to describe the Bible be reflective of the authenticity, accuracy, and veracity of God’s Holy words.

2. Glory. The word ‘glory’ or some form of it – glorify or glorious – appears in the King James Version of the Bible 538 time. The word ‘glory’ generally represents the Hebrew word. Kāḇôḏ, which has the root meeting of ‘heaviness’ or of ‘weight’ or ‘worthiness.’ The word is also used to describe a man’s wealth, honor, or reputation. According to Hebrew and Biblical experts, when applied to Father God or Yahweh, the word denotes the revelation of God's being, nature, and presence to mankind, sometimes with physical phenomena.

When reading and discussing the Bible with others, avoiding the use of the word glory is difficult. The authors of the Bible used various words, depending on the context, to describe God's majesty, holiness, and supernatural power; however, they frequently used glory as the “go-to catch-all” word to describe Him. Because of their readers’ limited understanding of the physical world they occupied at the time, the writers relied on the simple word to convey the multi-dimensional power and majesty of Father God.

Today, however, the average person with at least a high school education understands basic scientific principles that were unknown to the scribes of the Bible. We understand the fundamental properties of various forms of energy. We know that light is a form of energy composed of photons. We also know that science has made significant advances in a whole host of areas to include proton beams, nuclear fission, and quantum physics, to name a few.

Many verses containing the word glory appear to describe the unfathomable amount of supernatural energy God emanates. The following passages are an example:

Hebrews 1:3 KJV

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high…

Isaiah 60:1 KJV

Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

Revelation 21:23 KJV

And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine I in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

A reading of the above today triggers thoughts of power and energy. Accordingly, I recommend such words can and should be used when describing God's physical and supernatural qualities with an unbeliever vice glory.

In the same vein, our United States Military, at least for the present time, is the mightiest military on the planet. Most everyone knows that the U.S. can use its military capabilities to fight and win wars at will – when it wants to.

If we were to discuss military tactics with someone, we would probably not state that the U.S. intends to unleash its “might” on a particular region or country. We would not use the term "might" when discussing ground engagements where our Army and Marines engage enemy ground forces. We would use words that described what happened, such as our tanks were superior to the enemies or that we used effective air-to-ground missiles to down enemy planes. We could also discuss how our special forces conducted clandestine night raids in enemy areas. We would not simply repeat the word “might” to describe the various combat actions on the land, sea, and in the air,

Further, when we repeatedly use the word glory in our conversations to describe God’s indescribable power, strength, and essence, we come across as uneducated and lacking in intelligence. We rely on pre-K vocabulary that could be avoided if we took the time and did some deep thinking on how God's glory could be described in modern terms.

With the preceding stated, in a different context, glory can be a more appropriate word in the following example, where we are told to honor and revere God:

Matthew 5:16 KJV

Let your light so shine before men, so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

While the previous is true, to those of us who are of the baby boomer generation, the terms ‘glory’ or ‘glorify’ can have a negative connotation under certain circumstances. When I was growing up, no one wanted to be called a ‘glory seeker’ or be accused of being a ‘glory hound,’ such as a person constantly seeking attention and praise from others. Modesty was considered a virtue in my day before the advent of Facebook and Instagram.

While neither of the above terms is a salvation issue, they detract, in my view, from the Bible's power, authenticity, and rich detail. We should go out of our way to be original and expressive whenever discussing the Bible – especially with unbelievers.

The disciples understood the need to speak clearly and use the most impactful and straightforward words. They also understood the difference between plain language and figurative speech.

John 16:29 NKJV

His disciples said to Him, “See, now you are speaking plainly, and using no figure of speech!

If the disciples understood the importance of clear speech, we should too.

In part two, we’ll discuss the phrases “Satan is defeated” and “God is in control.”

UFOs and the Bible - is there a Connection?

Writing about UFOs has been a task that I've avoided. For the record, I'm not a UFO enthusiast, although I've always been mildly curious about the subject, as many are. However, I’ve always considered my mission to be spotlighting the truth about Jesus Christ and His rescue mission to save mankind.

Now, because of recent developments, I feel compelled to share what I’ve learned from Christian and secular researchers whom I trust. I’ve confirmed some of the information through my research as well. I think it’s time to pay attention to the UFO phenomenon for several reasons.

Why now – what has changed?

The existence of UFOs is no longer theoretical – the US Department of Defense (DoD) has confirmed their presence.

Probably the most critical development in the world of UFOs has been the US Department of Defense's quiet release of official information into the public domain through television programs. The chronology of some of the critical disclosures is as follows:

July 24, 2020, Tucker Carlson Show, FOX NEWS. During a ground-breaking segment, Tucker Carlson interviewed Commander David Fravor, USN (retired). During the interview, FOX played an official USN video clip of an encounter between an FA-18 piloted by Commander Fravor from the USS Nimitz and an unidentified aerial phenomenon (UAP – the new DoD official term for UFOs).

The video showed the FA-18’s radar locked on an object that Commander Fravor described as looking like a flying tic-tac. He stated that because of the high-speed maneuvers that the craft engaged in – maneuvers that defied the laws of physics – he determined that the craft was “not of this world.” At the time of the incident, Commander Fravor ran the Navy’s Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program (AATI).

The showing of the video was significant for two reasons. First, I think the video would have been classified because of its content. Commander Fravor would have never taken possession of a copy of the video and shared it with Fox News without the approval from the Department of the Navy and, ultimately, DoD. Had he shared the video without authorization, he would have been at risk of criminal prosecution for unauthorized disclosure of classified information. At the very least, he would have risked losing his USN retirement. The video is proof of DoD’s intent to make an official disclosure.

Secondly, the video showed visual proof of a UAP. By simply displaying and describing what he saw, Commander Fravor provided concrete evidence so that no one would doubt the authenticity of his claims.

October 8, 2020, Tucker Carlson Show. Carlson ran a segment on the documentary film “The Phenomenon,” produced by 1091 Pictures. In the segment, the producers of the film joined Carlson. Tucker then aired a portion of the documentary that showed Senator Harry Reid (Democrat –retired) confirming that UFOs had interfered with the operations of US ballistic missiles armed with nuclear warheads in the past.

Carlson also played a clip from the film that showed Dr. Jacque Valle working in a laboratory where he was testing materials recovered from UFOs. He stated on camera that his tests proved that the materials were not manufactured on earth.

In the same video clip, Chris Mellon, Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, stated the materials recovered from UFOs were manufactured at the atomic level, a capability that doesn’t exist on earth.

December 16, 2021, New York Times. The New York Times published an article that revealed the existence of a DoD program that maintains a stockpile of unidentified alien alloys.

April 6, 2022, Special Report with Bret Baier, FOX NEWS. Bret Baier, the anchor of FOX News’ prime time news hour, ran a segment entitled “Close Encounters with Unidentified Flying Objects.”  During the segment, Baier revealed the existence of a 1500-page pentagon report that documents several categories of injuries that DoD personnel have sustained after having physical encounters with UFOs/UAPs.

Baier cited a portion of the official report that documented DoD personnel suffering from radiation burns, brain injuries, and physical abductions by the occupants of the UAPs. In addition, Baier stated that the female victims reported unexplained pregnancies after being abducted.

May 17, 2022. The US House of Representatives Select Subcommittee on Intelligence conducted a hearing on UAPs. While the hearing did not produce any new revelations, the fact that Congress held a hearing on the subject is a further official confirmation of the phenomenon's existence.

Does other credible information from the past exist?

During the same timeframe of the DoD revelations about the existence of UAPs, DoD released information about the USS Omaha (LCS-12) encountering a “self-illuminated spherical craft” that followed the naval warship for more than two hours. Reporter George Knapp on Channel 8 News, CBS Las Vegas, showed a video of the USN radar tracking the craft until it disappeared into the ocean. At one point, the USS Omaha tracked 14 unidentified craft in its vicinity. The encounter took place in 2019. Eight other USN warships reported similar encounters.

Additionally, former military and civilian radar operators have reported tracking unidentified flying aircraft traveling at over 7,000 mph, making a 45-degree right turn, and coming to an instantaneous stop and hovering. They have also reported tracking multiple craft that have changed shape.

Robert (Bob) Lazar, a physicist who previously worked at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, US Department of Energy, gained national attention when he reported in 1989 that he was part of a classified US government program that was housed at a facility located near the Nevada Test Site in an area identified as S-4 near the Groom Lake/Area 51. He revealed that his job was to reverse engineer an anti-matter reactor propulsion system recovered from a UFO that used gravity amplifiers that could send out anti-gravity waves and use them to slice a cavity in the air and pull the craft through it.

He reported seeing nine UFO craft of various shapes and sizes in hangers. He was fired after he was caught bringing friends to the perimeter of the desert S-4/Area 51 test range at night to watch the craft being flown.

Today, one can find hundreds of videos of UFOs posted on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and the like. The sheer number of videos captured by everyday people worldwide provides additional proof that UFOs/UAPs are real.

Are all of the aerial craft sighted UFOs?

While I have no definitive proof, I believe some of the crafts sighted are experimental US crafts or crafts from other nations. I also think that some may be satellites, drones, or planets visible in the night sky. With that said, I believe the proof of the existence of UFOs/UAPs is no longer in doubt.

Have there been any changes in UFO sightings?

With the advent of smartphones, more and more people are posting videos of UFOs on the web. Although I have no quantitative data to support my suspicions, I believe the number of appearances of UFOs is increasing significantly.

Since most of the Christian community has not addressed the UFO phenomenon, what has been the impact?

Secular television, Hollywood, and amateur UFO investigators have put forth theories that have created what is essentially a UFO religion – a religion that is taking the place of the Holy Bible.

A case in point is the History Channel, which has been running the Ancient Aliens series for years. The show consistently asserts that what appears to be visible depictions of alien craft in ancient archeological ruins, particularly in Egypt and South America, is evidence that aliens from another planet have been visiting earth throughout recorded history. The Ancient Aliens series also postulates that the aliens were responsible for creating life on earth.

Many people have bought into the ancient alien theory and life on other planets because they believe in the theory of evolution. They assume that if life can originate from inorganic matter on earth – it must be happening on other planets as well – one of the consequences of rejecting the Bible’s documented account of God’s creation.

Are UFOs from another planet?

In 1990, Dr. Jacque Valle, an atheist, published a study in the Journal of Scientific Explorer: Five Arguments Against the Extraterrestrial Origin of Unidentified Flying Objects.

His findings:

(1) Unexplained close encounters are far more numerous than required for any physical survey of the earth. For example, we send several probes to survey other planets; there is no need to send hundreds of thousands of craft to study the weather, geology, and life forms on earth.

(2) The humanoid body structure of the alleged "aliens" is not likely to have originated on another planet and is not biologically adapted to space travel.

(3) The reported behavior in thousands of abduction reports contradicts the hypothesis of genetic or scientific experimentation on humans by an advanced race based on the methods used for sperm and ovum extractions. The procedures leave scars, inflict pain, and are performed in an uncaring, sadistic, and evil manner.

(4) The extension of the phenomenon throughout recorded human history demonstrates that UFOs are not a contemporary phenomenon.

(5) The UFOs have an apparent ability to manipulate space and time; they appear to be interdimensional

In addition to Valle’s findings, other researchers have noted that the shapes of the UFOs have changed over time. In the Roman Empire days, there were sightings of alien beings riding on shields. In Indian lore, witnesses observed alien beings riding in canoes in the sky. In the 1890s, multiple sightings of craft in the shape of airships, like the Goodyear blimp, were recorded.

Experts say that the so-called aliens have tailored their craft to match the culture of the day throughout history. In other words, they are deceptive.

If the UFO craft are interdimensional, why are they here?

If we examine past reports of people having direct contact with “aliens,” we can start to learn their intentions.

Reports of contact with aliens began to surface many decades ago. A case in point is that of Barney and Betty Hill, a couple from rural New Hampshire, who reported being abducted by extraterrestrials on September 19, 1961, while driving on a country road. They claimed they were taken into a spaceship and examined by humanoid beings. When asked where they were from, one of the humanoids showed Mrs. Hill a map of what appeared to be the Zeta Reticuli star system. Their abduction account was later detailed in the best-selling 1977 book The Interrupted Journey and later in a television film, The UFO Incident.

Since the Hill’s public disclosure of their abduction, countless other witnesses have reported sightings, contacts, and abductions.

One of the most famous abductions was chronicled in the movie Fire in the Sky, which featured the account of Travis Walton, who was abducted by “aliens” in full view of several members of a logging crew he was working with at the time. Walton reported fighting with small gray aliens when they attempted to examine him aboard a spaceship.

Christian researcher LA Marzulli has produced a four-part video series that documents, in part, the eyewitness accounts of women who have been abducted and become pregnant. Some witnesses reported having their pregnancies confirmed by a doctor, during which an ultrasound examination of the fetus was performed, and a heartbeat was detected. However, the same women reported that their baby was gone after being re-abducted approximately 12 weeks later.

The late Dr David M Jacobs examined hundreds of patients suffering from psychological problems, and through regressive hypnosis, he determined that most had been abducted by extraterrestrials. He further determined that the abductors were evil and, ultimately, concluded that the so-called “aliens" were conducting a massive breeding program. Most of his patients were abducted and used against their will, and part of their abuse involved training hybrid half-human/half-aliens how to act and think like humans.

Dr. Jacobs documented his work in several books, including The Threat: Revealing the Secret Alien Agenda and Walking Among Us: The Alien Plan to Control Humanity.

Another physician who investigated the actions of “aliens” was the late Dr. John Mack, a professor at Harvard Medical School and head of Harvard’s Psychiatry Department. Dr. Mack, a Pulitzer Prize winner, began encountering patients who had vague mental health complaints in his practice. He initially thought the patients were mentally ill; however, after doing in-depth research and using hypnosis, he realized that his patients had been abducted by aliens. Dr. Mack documented his findings in Abduction: Human Encounters with Aliens and Passport to the Cosmos: Human Transformation and Alien Encounters. Unlike Jacobs, he believed the experiences of his patients could be positive – sort of a necessary intervention, in his opinion. He also acknowledged the alien beings seemed to come from the spirit world.

UFO researchers who study the data of sightings and abductions have created a standardized checklist of the typical abduction experience based on the reports of thousands of abductees:

Classic Abduction Syndrome

1. Capture: while driving their car at night or in bed, a strange entity appears and teleports them from their car or bedroom to a ship or cave. Many have missing time associated with the capture.

2. Examination: under hypnosis, they report undergoing crude medical examinations aboard a spacecraft – others in cave-like locations. People report being in an examination room on a metal table.

3. Conference: Abductees have memories of having a telepathic conference with aliens; sometimes, they are told about future events that will happen on earth.

4. Tour:  They are given a tour of the ship, which often includes a stop at the ship's incubators (strange rooms for breeding purposes).

5. Journey:  They are taken to another environment or planet.

6. Theophany:  They report meeting divine beings or religious leaders on the ship, including Jesus Christ.

7. Return:  Returned to their environment and told to forget events or their memories are wiped.

8. Aftermath:  Often have no recollection of the event but show signs of being interfered with: scars, bruises, or marks; sometimes the skin is scooped, or scrap marks are visible. Many consider their experience to be abuse.

Are Christian churches helping abduction victims?

While most of the Christian community has ignored the abduction problem, secular television, and entertainment have not. For example, the A&E/History Channel has run a series entitled The Unexplained: Alien Abductions.

Abduction victims who have been traumatized by their experiences and seek out the counsel of Christian clergy are largely met with suspicion or apathy. Victims then often gravitate to support groups composed of fellow experiencers, where they are made to feel like they are part of a cosmic plan. In addition, the groups often foster an attitude among the victims that they have a much greater purpose and are recipients of spiritual enlightenment.

The abduction victims then end up being ambassadors for the “aliens” and their doctrines.

Since we have evidence that “aliens” are visiting earth, are interdimensional, and not from outer space, what are they?

The overwhelming consensus among the Christian community is that they are demonic entities from the second heaven.

Some Christian researchers speculate that the often-reported grays are avatars or biological earth suits that house demonic spirits.

Witnesses describe the "aliens" as deceptive, evil, and cruel; their behavior makes sense because if they are demons, they are under the control of the evil one - the father of all lies who prowls like a roaring lion.

Witnesses report that the “aliens” are constantly coming up with new origins in various places in the universe. They also give contradictory messages to different people, later determined to be lies.

Do "aliens" demonstrate traits consistent with the abilities of demons or angels?

"Aliens" can paralyze people while they are conscious. They can also block memories, induce sleep, and implant images and thoughts into people’s minds. The "aliens'" primary means of communication is telepathy, although some have used an audible voice.

Many abductees report being bathed in a beam of intense light and then teleported through car roofs, walls, windows, or ceilings into a ship.

Does the Bible document any angelic activity consistent with the behavior and capabilities of demons posing as aliens?

Acts 12:5-17

Peter Freed from Prison

5 Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church. 6 And when Herod was about to bring him out, that night Peter was sleeping, bound with two chains between two soldiers; and the guards before the door were keeping the prison. 7 Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, “Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands. 8 Then the angel said to him, “Gird yourself and tie on your sandals”; and so he did. And he said to him, “Put on your garment and follow me.” 9 So he went out and followed him, and did not know that what was done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision. 10 When they were past the first and the second guard posts, they came to the Iron Gate that leads to the city, which opened to them of its own accord; and they went out and went down one street, and immediately the angel departed from him.

The above passage documents that an angel performed the following supernatural feats that are mirrored by fallen angels posing as aliens:

Teleported into Peter’s prison cell, thereby creating a bright light
Induced unconsciousness in the two Roman soldiers on either side of Peter
Severed the chains on Peter’s wrists with supernatural power
Escorted Peter through the locked prison’s walls or metal door
Induced unconsciousness in the Roman guards manning two guard posts
Caused the city’s Iron Gate to open supernaturally
Dematerialized and disappeared after leading Peter out of the city

Is knowledge of UFOs and “aliens” a salvation issue, and if not, why should Christians care?

Christians should be concerned about UFOs and alien abductions for two reasons. First, from a purely defensive standpoint, followers of Christ should be prepared to pass on knowledge to others who might be victims of abductions. Why? If "aliens" are demons inhabiting biologically constructed humanoid-style earth suits, then they are subject to the power and sovereignty of Jesus Christ. Is there evidence to support the contention that "aliens" can be rebuked in the name of Jesus Christ?

The answer is yes. One witness in Florida reported that in 1997 while being sexually assaulted in his bed by alien intruders, he heard evil laughter. When he yelled, "Jesus help me," he heard shrieking, and the beings left.

A local newspaper reported the story, and then nationally syndicated wire services ran it. What followed was a flood of other witnesses coming forward with the same information.

MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) chapters then began reporting the same type of information; however, they claimed they held on to the reports because they didn't know what to do with them. Targets of potential abductions were able to repel attacks by invoking the name of Jesus.

Other Christian research organizations began reporting the same information. Creation Ministries International produced the documentary Alien Intrusion: Unmasking a Deception, which covers the subject in detail.

Christian researcher L. A. Marzulli has produced four UFO-related documentaries, the last being UFO Disclosure. In the film, he presents a witness who reports asking an alien if it is a demon. The “alien” replied, “We know your Jesus," and vanished.

CE4 Research Group has been the Investigative arm of AlienResistance.org, a clearing house devoted to presenting information that supports the Biblical view of the UFO phenomenon. The website has links to a database that contains scores of documented accounts of witnesses who stopped abductions by rebuking them in the name of Jesus.

The preceding information raises a fundamental question:  If aliens with sophisticated technology can fly millions of light years to reach earth, why would they be afraid of the name of Jesus?

The second reason Christians should be concerned about UFOs is that false beliefs about aliens could become a salvation issue for some.

If we have a significant disclosure event in the future in which multiple UFOs appear in a prominent location and remain stationary to be filmed by TV crews, followed by an appearance of "aliens" who claim to be the actual creators of humankind – not God – then many will be deceived. We are facing what many believe to be the coming great deception that will cause a great falling away.

Does the Bible say anything about a significant future deception that could cause a great falling away?

Matthew 24:24

For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 NKJV

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,

What does the Bible tell us about how and why the alien intrusion began?

Genesis 3:15

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel."

The preceding passage documents God warning Satan in the Garden of Eden that He will confront Satan's offspring. What offspring? How could that be, and why would God say such a thing?

God’s warning to Satan sets up the prophetic narrative; it marks the start of the seed war between Satan and God. Scripture documents that Satan has attempted to destroy the genome of man, and the subsequent line of descendants, to prevent the birth of Christ. If all human seeds or genomes had been corrupted, Mary could have never given birth to Jesus.

How could Satan destroy the genome of man?

Genesis 6: 1-4

6 When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. 3 Then the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not abide in[a] man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” 4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.

The previous passage documents Satan's first attempt to pollute the gene pool. He induced guardian angels to desert their post of watching over assigned territories of earth, appearing in human flesh, and engaging in copulation with earth women. The resulting offspring were giant half-angel/half-human hybrids who were not made in the image of God and thus could not be saved. Satan’s goal was to pollute the gene pool so that no pure human would be left and Mary could not birth Jesus.

Many scholars agree with the interpretation, including Dr. David Jeremiah and Dr. Michael Heiser, to name a few. In addition to producing hybrid offspring, the fallen angels also taught man such skills as metallurgy, astrology, and genetic manipulation techniques to alter other life forms – according to extra-biblical texts.

Does the Bible document God's attention to the human gene pool and the purity of bloodlines?

Genesis 6:9

These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation. Noah walked with God.

Does the Bible cite evidence of the gene mixing and the resulting Nephilim?

Deuteronomy 3:11

For only King Og of Bashan was left of the remnant of the Rephaim. Behold, his bed was a bed of iron. Is it not in Rabbah of the Ammonites? Nine cubits (18 feet) was its length, and four cubits (8 feet) is its breadth, according to the common cubit.

(Note: The US measure of feet was added to the text.  Rabbah was the chief city of the Ammonites. The Rephaim were one of the tribes of the Nephilim.)

In Numbers 13, we learn that Moses sent spies out into Canaan to surveil the Promised Land clandestinely.

Numbers 13: 33

And there we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim), and we seemed to ourselves as grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them.

Does the Bible contain any evidence of the genetic manipulation of other animals or plants?

Numbers 13: 23

And they came to the valley of Eshcol and cut down from there a branch with a single cluster of grapes, and they carried it on a pole between two of them; they also brought some pomegranates and figs.

Does the Bible contain any references to the production of alien/human hybrids?

Daniel 2:43 NKJV

As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.

The preceding scripture is part of a more in-depth prophetic description of the last days before the return of Jesus Christ. While the "they" are not identified, the passage generally describes mixing demonic seeds with human seeds. The quote also alludes to Satan's new strategy in the seed war.

Why is Satan creating human/alien hybrids? Jesus Christ has already been born, and he defeated Satan at the cross.

The late Dr. Chuck Missler, a revered Christian scholar, was asked the preceding question. His answer was immediate: "Satan is outnumbered two to one. So he's building an army."

While the question is not answered in the Bible, some speculate that the hybrids will be mobilized in the last days in some capacity. If a significant number exists, they could be a factor in an armed conflict. Abductees who have interacted with late-generation hybrids report that the hybrids possess some of the mental manipulation powers of pure aliens/demons, i.e., they can read minds, plant thoughts, and incapacitate targets with their telepathic abilities.

Some abductees claim to have been forced to teach hybrids how to act like humans in preparation for an eventual takeover – The Change. Abductees have been told there are eight generations of successive hybrids (which would put the programs start to the late 1800s).

What can we, as followers of Jesus Christ, do?

We must be resolute in our faith in God. Since witnesses have come forward to warn us about the demonic deception masquerading as an alien invasion, we are now mentally prepared to confront the deception that is being perpetrated against us.

We must follow God’s command:

1 Corinthians 16:13-14

Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love.
