An effective POLITICIAN is popular, charismatic, gets re-elected, is loved by the media, becomes wealthy, exercises power and control, and avoids going to jail despite criminal activity. An effective LEADER accomplishes good, advancement, progress, gains, and benefits for the constituents, but likely will not be an effective politician.
