I can't believe it's almost a year since I published my very first book! I have learned a lot and made a LOT of mistakes. I'm learning still! However, it's been a fun ride! Thank you for joining me and I hope you enjoyed reading about Alec and Gabby. I'm sad to see them go but I'm also excited to write about other characters.

Hi everyone! I'm sure you noticed the new covers! I've been dying to show them to everyone...I love, love, love them! I know, I've changed my covers several times now, but it's part of my learning as a new indie author. I think I found my cover designer and she is awesome!! Shout out to Covers by Aura (Check Facebook). I promise not to change my covers until the market MAKES me :).
With my new revamped covers, I'm publishing a collection (TBR on 8/14), it will have Fortis, Tatia, and Viktor's Story and Vis. Animo- the last book in the series is due to come out on October 14th (hopefully sooner). I will put it up on pre-order as soon as I have my gorgeous cover!
Oh, I almost forgot. I am also publishing a paperback copy of Vis. I'm just waiting for the proof copy to make sure that everything looks good!

Hi everyone!

It's been a while. I'm not very active in any of my social media accounts. If you haven't guessed by now, I'm more of a lurker. It's hard for an introvert like myself to come up with things to blab about...lol.

I finished writing Celeste's and Daemon's story and I'm not entirely sure about it. 🤷I know I said this with Book two ( then ended up loving the final product🙃) however, these characters always take me by surprise😒!

I expected Daemon and Celeste to have a sweet story, but nope... this novella is DARK...Blame Amy! She's definitely one character I didn't plan for.

Anyway, I'm not sure yet what I'll do with it. We will see what my editor says. In the meantime. I'll work on book three.

Book two is almost here! I've been quiet lately but I've been productive. I revamped book 1 and I'm very happy with the changes, I love the cover for both books! Dare I say, I'm starting to get the hang of being an author? ... Well, I'm no longer fumbling but, I think I still have a long way to go!
I am very excited for everyone to read book two. It was tough to write because the characters were very stubborn, I wanted them to go one way but they had a mind of their own, I'm learning to listen because I loved how it all turned out. I hope you do too!

Forgot to add:
I'm having Fortis: Book 1 proofread. I didn't want to initially, since I had spent an arm and a leg on editing and didn't expect to make that back in sales but I did not want to publish crappy work. (I listen to my reviewers:))

Also, I was pretty excited to get reviews. Still waiting on Amazon reviews so if anyone wants to leave reviews I will be forever grateful!

I was stuck in a snowstorm for a couple of days and instead of writing book two-which I still couldn't finish (I'm on chapter 9), since It's very emotional and dark- I wrote Ti and Vik's story. It will launch on December 6th. Hopefully, I will do it right this time! Wish me luck!

Okay ... the struggle continues. I didn't mean for this blog to be about my struggles, but I suppose everyone goes through it. So, book 1 launch came and went. I had some sales then a few days would go by without any traction, then I would get a few again. It was freaking fantastic when I got my first few sales but then quickly turned disheartening when it stopped. Don't worry, I was realistic with my goals.
I went back and did MORE research on how to launch a book and discovered that there're such things as blitz and parties and all kinds of promotional lingo that I am still learning. It's a whole new world that I was not privy to.
No wonder a lot of authors out there have LOTS of reviews with in the first 5 days of launch! My goodness! There IS a magic sauce for this whole book marketing that I needed to get my hands on. Yeah, I know! I'm doing it backward, but I'm learning! :)

I was anxiously waiting to launch, I did my research and checked all the boxes. I thought I was prepared but just like any newbies out there I was sadly disappointed. It's just publishing, how hard could it be right? Wrong! Reading about it and preparing for it are two different things. I'm a bit overwhelmed with how unprepared I really was. Well, we learn from our mistakes! There is always book 2! 😁

One month before the release date. Kinda nervous! Just opened up my Goodreads account, not sure how to set it up yet so here is my first blog! Good luck to me!
