Sarabeth obtained her PhD in curriculum studies and teaching from the University of Denver, and has degrees from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Rhode Island School of Design. Her background includes leading innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives in K–12, higher education, and community programs.
