Morgan Dax While getting dressed for work as an exotic dancer in the basement change room of my home club, the first published author I ever had the opportunity …moreWhile getting dressed for work as an exotic dancer in the basement change room of my home club, the first published author I ever had the opportunity to meet, Laurie Shapiro, (who was in Canada working on Shawney Cohen's documentary about his father's strip club) urged me to write about my experiences working there.
I never wanted to write about my own life, but I took her advice, and after around seven years of struggling with it, I finally had a full-length novel, plus the beginnings of two more!(less)
