Giveaway has ended
Hello good people of GoodReads. I am happy to announced my month-long giveway of my latest book "Death in Etobicoke and Other Humourous Tales" has ended and winners selected. Congratulations to Hannah, Nicole and Barb.
It was exciting to see the number of people interested in reading my collection of short stories climb to 2,912 potential readers. I hope enough of you are interested in reading the stories that you will buy the book. It is priced to sell and is funny as heck!
The first three stories are all set in the community of Etobicoke where I live in Toronto and involve the alluring but dangerous goth siren Lucy Fehr, who seems determined to end my existence in unique (and humorous) ways.
The last three stories are set in my hometown of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Two stories are true and one is fiction. Can you guess which one is made up?

Book giveaway is underway
I am happy to report that the book giveaway contest for Death in Etobicoke was launched today. This is my first time doing a giveaway and I am thrilled at the response so far. It's exciting to see hundreds of people interested in my collection of humorous short stories.

A Book is Coming July 1
Hello good people of Good Reads.
I am happy to announced that my new book is going to be published on July 1st. It is called "Death in Etobicoke and Other Humorous Tales."
Death in Etobicoke is an eclectic collection of humorous stories, which is clearly valued by intelligent readers with a keen sense of humour. In this book, I focused on two themes:
The first is how the tasty and tantalizing desires in life bring us the promise of great pleasure but can ultimately lead us to an untimely demise. I reveal this in a very entertaining and hilarious way, of course! The beating heart of both the desire and destruction is the strangely alluring goth goddess, Lucy Fehr, whom our hero, Scott Colby, cannot resist. How many times must I fall for her enchanting, yet lethal, charms? Spoiler alert! Three, to be exact.
The second theme is that a healthy perspective to life is often earned by facing our fears and pushing through misery. Everything is going to be all right. Unless, of course, Lucy Fehr suddenly appears!
Please note that Death in Etobicoke was originally published in 2019 as Tales from the North Shore. The third installment of the “Death in Etobicoke” trilogy has been revised for this edition.
