Growing up, Alanna Martin wanted to be an astronaut, a doctor, and an actor – possibly all at once. After nine years of studying psychology, she somehow became a writer instead. This turned out to be the best career choice of all because she can work in her pajamas while drinking wine. She firmly believes in the power of fluffy books, long walks in the woods, and that there’s no such thing as too much coffee.

The books in this series are definitely a bit of wish fulfillment for me, especially since my husband has horrible allergies so we're currently dog-less. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that one day though... But for now, I have to make due with imaginary huskies.(less)

Hi Ms Martin, I am loving this series, I am on #1 and have #2 on the shelf for my next read, can't wait til Dec when the 3rd one comes out! My husband keeps me up to date by ordering books for me as I am interested in them. So after this series what's next? I am the person that's described on the back cover, I fill all those requirements for enjoying your books! Thanks for writing about Alaska and Huskies.
