“All I know is that the world keeps spinning, and only at the end of each night, when my head is on your shoulder, does it stop long enough for me to comprehend.”

“All I’m saying is, you don’t have to roam the earth so defensively. Your existence doesn’t require anyone else’s acknowledgement.”
Dur e Aziz Amna, American Fever

“Again, it’s 2011 and Americans are worried about everyone else’s safety, sated in the knowledge that their nook of the world is far safer than elsewhere, although don’t tell them why that might be. History is what happens in other places. America transcends it.”
Dur e Aziz Amna, American Fever
