New Horror Novel Release
My latest book, a horror-fantasy thriller entitled The Faraway People, hit the shelves yesterday, and I couldn't be happier with how it's turned out. The fantastically creepy cover art depicting the horned god, Cernunnos, and the Terrible Babies, was created by @DansMonsters. If you like cults, mythical creatures, the occult, and plenty of thrills, then you'll enjoy this one. The book is available from all major retailers.

The Hawk and the Raven
So, at long last The Hawk and the Raven has been released (release date was the 26th October 2021) and I've had such a busy week promoting it. Firstly, I was interviewed live on BBC Radio Kent which was a fun experience. Verbal diarrhoea, it turns out, is a real thing and it emerges when you least expect it. I was then interviewed by the Sittingbourne Gazette and Kent Online, which was a little easier. Talking to a solo reporter is far easier than speaking when you know others may be listening. We had a great book launch event at 'Tales on Market Street' in Faversham, a really cool independent book shop run by the extremely supportive and hugely accommodating Rachel Thapa-Chhetri. The shop was full and we sold all of the books too! This week is the Bookstagram tour, and I've been so lucky to have connected with so many book lovers in both the UK and the US (and some in Europe too). They've all been really honest and have given the book both praise and critique (you can read some of the reviews on The Hawk and the Raven Goodreads page if you don't have an Insta account). I am extremely grateful to everyone for taking the time to read the book and for posting and supporting. We took the decision to send out a little memento with the ARC packages (a severed finger no less) and it's fair to say people loved it! I'm deep into recording the audio book copy of THATR so I'll post on here when that's released - I took the decision to narrate it myself so you'll get the story warts and all! The fun continues with publicity for the book and writing my next novel which I'm about a third of the way through. I'll keep you posted on that too! Keep reading and enjoying!
