I had a Big Magic Moment (described by Elizabeth Gilbert in her book "Big Magic"). It kind of came to me as a movie, I just "saw" it and knew I had to write it. I've been back to Kaua'i 3 times since, and every time, new ideas and characters have jumped into the story while I've been there. Kaua'i is a truly magical place, as described in Fly, Butterfly.
