Hillary Marotta has been a musician almost all of her life. She began learning to play the piano at age six, followed quickly by the flute. Though she only took several years of piano, she has played flute through all of her school years, college, and beyond in community bands and church settings. She began ringing handbells in sixth grade but took a long hiatus until she heard handbells at Bucknell University. She spent three years as a Rooke Chapel Ringer under Dr. William Payn’s direction and has reprised her role several times since on multiple occasions for varying lengths of time.
