Writing a novel is a roller coaster.
Writing a novel is a journey of ups and downs. It starts with an idea and grows until it has a life of its own. At the moment it is early morning where I am, and I sit here sipping coffee while I get ready to write more of my next book Chronicles Of A Siren-Tidal Vortex. After writing my Asgard Academy: The Prophecy, a reverse harem novel, I was asked what novel I would write next. I had decided I didn’t only want to be known as a reverse harem writer lol. I decided I wanted to write other things too. So I sat down and planned out my five books to write this year. So I plan to write a few different series of books adding to each series every year. As a new author there are days where you wonder if your writing is truly good enough. You question if people will enjoy the story regardless of how much positive feedback you have gotten. It can be a roller coaster of ups and downs of self doubt, excitement, joy, and discovery as you write a book. Eventually you learn to just enjoy the journey.

About Asgard Academy: The Prophecy Book 1
Asgard Academy The Prophecy Book One, was fun to write. The second edition, the blue cover one, with Aurora and her blue hair has lots of extras in it. The second edition is the only edition available now. Writing this book was also incredibly complicated because I didn’t just want to write a reverse harem. I wanted to write the adventure, the mystery of Aurora uncovering her past lives and the helpful secrets and Intel they held. I had this big goal in my head for this first book to set up everything for the next book and a full series. It needed to portray the world of Asgard and its history. Aurora's past lives and life as she grew up in foster care thinking she was human. I made this complex web of history for this fantasy world that had giants, elves, witches, dragon shifters, Fae, wolf shifters, demons, angels, Gods, and Goddesses. Along with a Fenrir who I made the first giant wolf shifter that had no self control or feelings of remorse at the pain or suffering he caused. The ultimate villain, who along with his followers and demons caused havoc in this world of mine. They caused thousands of generations of fear, pain, and suffering.
Aurora and her mates reincarnated in each three decades and in each life she decided to continue to be her people's shield maiden, fighting the ongoing war for their freedom. It just so happens to make it really interesting that the gods made sure she was mated to four demigod brothers. Who have different mothers and a father who happens to be one of two Gods remaining alive. One is a wolf shifter, one is a dragon shifter, one is a giant/warlock hybrid, one is a Valkyrie. And yes I am aware that valkyries are supposed to be only women. But in my world they are a full species of warriors that serve Odin and bring warriors to Valhalla. It is definatley a mature read as the sex scenes are steamy and sure to leave a person needing a cold shower. Book two: The Clash of the Asgard Academy series is going to have far more fighting and war-like scenes. Along with a surprise plot twist that will have fans surprised and looking forward to new books in the series.

What I am currently working on.
Today I am writing yet another chapter in my next upcoming book Chronicles Of The Siren-Tidal Vortex. I’m excited about this one as it is a bit different from my Asgard Academy series. The story centers around a girl named Teal who was found on the Wales seashore as a baby. At twelve years old she is framed for the murder of her father who she loved dearly. She spends years in prison for something she never did. Until when she is eighteen, she is given a choice. Stay in jail or serve her remaining sentence working it off in Barbados. She chooses Barbados and boards a ship to travel across the Atlantic ocean. She unravels the information hidden from her for years, and digs up secrets others would rather be buried. Teal is a strong yet vulnerable female character who finds she has a destiny she never would have seen coming about. A fire for justice for her species starts to grow within her, as she finds out who she truly is. The story has one foot in a fantasy world and the other foot in the world as we know it. Both worlds merge together and show conflict between two different species, humans and Sirens. Secrets and mystery shroud many areas of the story. And I am writing it in a way that reveals details as the reader reads. There is a magic that happens when a reader is able to see the foreshadowing and eventually put the pieces together as the story progresses. I just released my cover reveal for this book on my Facebook author page, along with the full blurb. click here to see the cover reveal post

I've finally joined the world of goodreads!
Well as the heading states I have finally joined the world of goodreads. Becoming a new indie author has been a whirl wind of a ride and a huge learning curve. With choosing to become an indie author and publish my work myself I had to learn, formatting and how to do everything that publishing requires. And I won’t lie it was a bumpy ride at first. Grammarly and word autocorrect are practically swear words in my house after they screwed up my first publication of Asgard Academy The Prophecy Edition one. Unfortunately I learned the hard way to look over my manuscript with a fine toothed comb after each file, or margin change. January, 30th, 2020 I republished Asgard Academy The Prophecy Edition 2 with added content and pictures. Ironically writing was the easy part. I absolutely love writing and have six books on my list to write this year 2020! I’m currently writing my next book, Chronicles Of The Siren- Tidal Vortex. Once I am done writing Tidal Vortex I plan to write book 2 of Asgard Academy: The Clash. Here is a link to a sneak peek post about Asgard Academy: The Prophecy- Book One. Edition 2, on my Facebook author page. Enjoy and happy reading everyone!
