This ARC review came in today, and it's giving me all the feels. 💗💗💗
"One of my new favorite stories! I love the relationship between Lana and Mikah. They've known each other a while...Lana wakes from a coma, having to do immense mental work to regain her memory...And Mikah is kind and patient, helping her the entire way. Their relationship grows and evolves and deepens. Mikah is honest and open with Lana, and I love her complete faith in him. The fact that Lana starts this story with a disability is amazing and unusual. Sweetly tender, with heated moments, and heartfelt conversations...Happy Reading!!" 📚
Her words capture the essence of "Mikah" probably better than I did in the actual novella. 😆 I write short stories instead of novels because the longer angsty journeys to HEA can take so much out of me. Mikah and Lana really pushed me to tell their emotional & complicated road to love in a 90-minute story. But I did it. We did it.

I had an amazing time exploring Rocky Mountain National Park with the Alpha last month. I admit, my heart is still in those woods. I refuse to accept that we're back to our normal day-to-day "grind." 😝
But I brought something very special back from the mountains: INSPIRATION!!
A boatload of it. 😍
Mikah's story came to me like waves on the shore. I saw it coming, slowly, and then all at once it crashed into me.
