My jaw hurts from how many times it hit the floor reading this book.
The Royal Trilogy isn't just one genre, because each book brings us something new. TROF brought more than I was expecting, more than I was hoping, and an amount of craziness that sim

A burn so slow I couldn't put it down.

This book was all the right amounts of romantic angst, suspenseful mystery, and hot dude who owns a bar. Oh, and small town Tennessee vibes. Lots of those too.

A perfect read for those who want to dive into a roma

Loved this little duology! (I'll leave a review for book2 as well)
A great dip of the toe into fantasy romance. Not too spicy for this first book (the second one heats up quite a bit). I very much enjoyed the writing and the romance!

C.H. Lyn and 1 other person liked Erik Fox's review of Hope and Lies:
Hope and Lies by C.H. Lyn
"Killer book. I just finished this a few days ago and I haven’t read a dystopian for a long while. Love that it’s a series and I’m stoked to get deeper down the rabbit hole on book 2"
Time Traveler's Limbo by C.H. Lyn
"So good, didn’t want to put the book down."
Time Traveler's Limbo by C.H. Lyn
"Heavy topics—don’t read while sad!—but a beautifully written story with a fleshed out world and characters despite how short it was. I’m impressed! If you like post-apocalyptic stories, you need to give this one a try."

“A low growl rumbled in her throat. “Not magic. Sweat and pain and determination, Gadrel. That’s what gets things done. Not magic.”
C.H. Lyn, A Voice in the Tower

“She was heavy. The weight of the dress, lighter than most but still pounds of fabric, pulled her. Thick pearls in a strand at her waist tugged her back to their home at the bottom of the sea.
Her lungs burned. The air in them fouled. Grew putrid and worthless and she let it out before it could choke her.
Her chest clenched with emptiness.”
C.H. Lyn, Song of the Deep

“Bravery, prince?” Gadrel’s voice dripped with disdain. “That will get you nowhere in this world.” He glanced up at Riva. “You swear it? On his life? You swear to obey me if I release him?”
