Thaine Chase, the pen name of Newfoundland writer and director Glenn Doyle, has captivated audiences across various media for nearly four decades. Born in Newfoundland, he studied journalism and screenwriting in Toronto, where he achieved success in both film and theatre.

A career martial artist, Doyle’s non-fiction book, THE MARTIAL ARTIST’S WAY, published in 1999 by Tuttle Publishing in the United States and HarperCollins in Canada, garnered significant acclaim. After retiring from teaching martial arts, he embarked on a career in novel and novella writing. However, the presence of other established authors with similar names prompted him to adopt the distinctive pen name Thaine Chase.

Thanks for the inquiry. I use a number of beta readers throughout the writing process and I have two editors I use when I'm getting near my final few drafts. Then, when I feel I'm done and the book is ready to be released, I'll turn to one of the greatest beta readers I know for the final read -- a wonderful person and Goodreads author, Danny Raye.
