Dad’s 2.5 Year Pancreatic Cancer Update

Hey, my friends. I hope youre all feeling safe and well during this time.

Its been quite awhile since I wrote a blog post here, as Ive spent the past 18 months writing a book which took 100% of my energy and focus. I cant believe its actually done and will be out in the world in just a few short weeks! The covid-19 situation has made everything feel veryyyy different than expected (for everyone in the world, I know). Im doing my best to stay connected to my work and take care of myself...

My First Book Is Here! Introducing The Rebel’s Apothecary

Dear friends,

I cant believe its finally time for me to share the project Ive been working on for the past 18 months. This is the first time Im sharing about it publicly, after dedicating all of my time and energy to it for a very, very long time it feels a little nerve-wracking to share it with the world!

This project began as my quest to find ways to help my dad when he got diagnosed with cancer, and it unexpectedly became the most meaningful and important research of my life.

Writing my...

I Deleted Instagram For 6 Weeks – This Is What Happened

6 weeks ago, I was sitting in my backyard in Brooklyn drinking iced coffee with one of my best friends, on what felt like the first official iced coffee day of the year. The sun was shining, I had just given her a birthday card and gift, and it was, overall, a really lovely moment. I wasnt feeling lovely, though.

Ive been feeling really depressed latelylike, really, really low, I said.

I think Instagram is part of the problem. Every time I open it, I end up feeling noticeably worse. I might...

Hey, my friends.

Healthy Crush Cancer Resources

Hi, my friends.

Yesterday, I posted this photo on instagram with an update on my dads pancreatic cancer journey.

After I posted it, messages started pouring into my inbox from people who have been newly diagnosed with cancer and caregivers of people with cancer. As you can imagine, many of these messages are coming from people in a state of fear, uncertainty and desperation. My family felt all of those things too. when he first got diagnosed, and when I searched pancreatic cancer on the...
